While Kimiko recovers, The Boys try to track down Soldier Boy. That’s probably for the best, since Homelander and Vought’s new CEO, Ashley (Colby Minifie), sweep the explosion under the rug. They insist that it’s safe for the public to go about their day, highlighting Vought’s negligence, especially now that Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) is gone.
Fortunately, Butcher and his friends locate the Supe as he goes after his ex for revenge. However, Butcher doesn’t plan on stopping Soldier Boy’s destruction. In fact, it seems he’ll be enabling it. Much to M.M.’s (Laz Alonso) dismay, Butcher and Hughie enlist Soldier Boy to help them kill Homelander. It’s a risky decision, and it’s likely to have consequences in the coming chapters.
