Newly engaged couple Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal became fan-favorites during War of the Worlds II as they weren’t afraid to go into elimination and prove themselves. They were also openly against Cara Maria Sorbello and Paulie Calafiore running the house based on alliances and frequently criticized the couple for playing a “scared” game.

However, fans are accusing Jordan and Tori of the same thing when they demanded she competes against the perceived weakest girl in the competition to receive her red skull.

How Cara Maria Sorbello and Paulie Calafiore ran ‘War of the Worlds 2’

Last season, veterans Cara Maria Sorbello, Paulie Calafiore, Tori Deal, and Jordan Wiseley all returned for War of the Worlds 2. They initially all competed together on the dominating Team USA.

Even though they won every daily challenge except for three, Cara Maria and boyfriend Paulie consistently threw their own teammates into elimination.

The two ran the house based on alliances that included some of the Team UK members and didn’t hesitate to eliminate anyone who wouldn’t work with them.

Therefore, Team USA lost fierce competitors such as Wes Bergmann, Laurel Stucky, and Johnny Bananas very early in the competition. Jordan and his girlfriend Tori were openly against eliminating their strongest competitors and flipped to Team UK once they had the choice.

Out of the seven Team USA teammates who made the finale, only one had faced an elimination. The team quickly burned out, and the four Team UK members, including Jordan, won $250,000 each.

Tori did not finish the first part of the finale on time and was eliminated without winning any prize money. Many viewers hated watching the season and were glad that Cara Maria and Paulie chose to take a break.

Additionally, host T.J. Lavin implemented a new twist for The Challenge 35: Total Madness, where each contestant must win an elimination to run his final because he was tired of people “skating by.”

Jordan Wisely and Tori Deal demanded she faces the weakest girl

Viewers would think Jordan and Tori would love the elimination twist, mainly because they were openly against playing a “scary” game and all about proving themselves. However, the newly engaged couple threw people off when they started making demands.

After Jordan and Tori both failed to secure a spot in the Tribunal, the Are You the One star asked Dee Nguyen to throw her in against rookie Jennifer Lee. However, the Australian-native explained she already made a deal with Jenny West and wanted to honor that.

Jordan didn’t receive the news well, as he felt like they won her the money last season. He told Tori to make her understand what they’ve done for, or the couple would come after her, and Dee perceived it as a threat. She stuck to her original deal and chose Jenny to compete against the rookie, who single-handedly won.

Fans are concerned Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal are doing the same thing

Many fans did not like how Jordan and Tori behaved and felt like they were acting entitled. Last season, the two consistently criticized people for taking “layups,” and Tori eliminated the two strongest females on Team UK (Georgia Harrison and Jenny West).

However, now she’s demanding that Dee put her up against the weakest girl so she can have the easiest path to the final. Several viewers took to Twitter after Episode 2 to call the engaged couple out for playing the same “scary” game they openly denounced last season.

Many claimed Jordan and Tori were giving them “Cara and Paulie vibes,” and another claimed they never “bought into” the couple as the “good guys” of War of the Worlds 2.

One user noted Jordan and Tori “want that easy ride” to the finals like Cara Maria and pointed out the couple are using threats like they accused the “cult” of doing last season. Will their strategy get to them to the finals as it did Cara Maria and Paulie?

The Challenge 35: Total Madness airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on MTV.
