The end of an era is finally upon us. Keeping Up With the Kardashians, after surviving many rumors about coming to an end, is finally officially concluding.
The reality TV series that followed several members of the blended Kardashian-Jenner family is the launching point for the careers and fame of Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian as well as Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
Through it all, Kris Jenner — the family’s matriarch, has carefully orchestrated the theatrics surrounding her family’s rise to the top of the entertainment world. Many speculated that the show — despite lagging in ratings and lacking enough material to keep it going successfully — would continue to limp along because Kris Jenner was keeping it alive.
Now that the series is actually ending, fans are looking for signs that Jenner’s enthusiasm dwindled, and they’re certainly finding evidence.
‘KUWTK’ changed focus over the years
When the reality TV series first premiered back in 2006, the Kardashian family wasn’t all that well known. The focus of the series changed because the lives of the protagonists changed, and they were no longer up-and-coming socialites trying to make it in Hollywood.
