‘The Last Kingdom’: Fans React to an Official Look at Eadith in Season 5: ‘Look How Much She’s Changed!’
Fans of The Last Kingdom have been eagerly waiting for the return of the final season. The official social media channels have been sharing official looks at some of the characters in season 5, including Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) and Finan (Mark Rowley). Fans recently received a glimpse of Eadtih (Stefanie Martini) in the new season, and fans reacted to it.
Eadith in ‘The Last Kingdom’
Eadith is the sister of Eardwulf (Jamie Blackley), who is in charge of Aethelred’s (Toby Regbo) household guards, and she is manipulated by him into being Aethelred’s mistress. After Eadith helps Aethelflaed (Millie Brady), who is Aethelred’s wife, escape after Eadith’s brother kills Aethelred, she ends up having to find Uhtred to deliver a message to him for Aethelflaed about where to meet them. Then she finds herself allied with Uhtred and his warriors, staying with them even after Aethelflaed pays her off and explains she can’t stay in Aegelesburg.

On August 12, 2021, the official social media channels shared an official look at Eadith. In the post, there is the name of the series in the upper left corner. Eadith can be seen in the middle with her hands touching as she wears dark-colored clothing. Her hair is braided and the rest of it hangs down at her sides. She looks rather serious in the image.
Below is a quote from the character. “’Then perhaps my family name will be returned to honor.’ – Eadith.”

Fans react to an official look at Eadith
As can be expected, fans have a lot of reactions to the post. Some fans mentioned season 5, while other focused in on the character itself.
