There has been media shared by our favorite actors together and on set now that production is happening. Ruby Hartley, who plays Stiorra in The Last Kingdom, recently shared a unique photo of herself, and she mentioned Eliza Butterworth, who plays Lady Aelswith, in the caption.

On June 13, 2021, Hartley shared the image on Instagram. In it, she’s wearing a blue ensemble with her hair down as she has on a large headpiece crown with red flowers on it as well as rods coming off it and reaching into the air. Hartley looks at a box of porridge as she holds it with one hand and has another hand under it. There’s a window in the background as well as a chair.

Hartley captioned the post while tagging Butterworth: “The result of spending the early hours of a Sunday morning with @elizabutterworth.” Hartley also tagged the post in Budapest, Hungary. Over 4,000 people like the photo, while over 30 people commented on it.

Butterworth commented on the post saying, “Petals and porridge 🌺🥣♥️.”

Stiorra and Lady Aelswith in ‘The Last Kingdom’

Both Stiorra and Lady Aelswith are memorable characters in The Last Kingdom. Stiorra is the daughter of the main character in the series, Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon), and his late wife, Lady Gisela (Peri Baumeister). Stiorra ends up leaving Winchester with Sigtryggr (Eysteinn Sigurðarson), a Dane who took the city, as one of the conditions for him leaving. Stiorra goes willingly to Daneland with him, although at first a hostage.

Lady Aelswith is originally from Mercia. She is the wife of the late King Alfred (David Dawson). She has two children, King Edward (Timothy Innes) and Lady Aethelflaed (Millie Brady), who is now ruler of the Mercians. Aelswith is poisoned by Lord Aethelhelm (Adrian Schiller) while they are captive by the Danes. Although they are allowed free, Aelswith falls, and it’s unclear at the end of season 4 what will happen to her.

Hopefully, we’ll get even more content now that season 5 of The Last Kingdom is finally in production. Fans can surely appreciate posts like the one Hartley just shared of herself. We’ll have to see what the actors post next before season 5 finally premieres in all its glory.
