Season 4 of ‘The Last Kingdom’ will be released this month
The new season of The Last Kingdom will be released on Sunday, April 26. With only a few weeks left, fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere of their favorite show.

There’s a new photo of Uhtred and Finan
The official social media account for the series released a new image of Uhtred and Finan standing side by side. Uhtred is smirking and Finan is holding a blade. It’s unclear whether it’s a shot between takes or a still of the upcoming season.

Mark Rowley shared the same image on his Instagram
Rowley, who plays Finan, decided to share the same image with his followers on Instagram as well. He captioned the image with: “Behind the scenes… @thelastkingdom @netflix #season4 #comingsoon.”
He also shared a number of hashtags in a comment: “#thelastkingdom #warriors #irish #dane #history of #england.”
Fans react to the new image of the iconic friends
Fans of The Last Kingdom can’t get enough of all of these new images coming out of season 4. It looks like the new season was a lot of fun to film and the people working on it enjoyed themselves. People are more than grateful for this new season to come out, especially during this time of social distancing and isolation because of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Numerous people called for the season to be dropped early. “Drop it early! We in quarantine,” an Instagram user said.
A number of fans are anxious for the new content. “Counting down the days,” a fan wrote.
Many fans don’t want to wait until almost the end of April. “It’s cruel to make us wait until the end of the month while we’re on lockdown,” another fan said.
