The fans of the Star Wars series The Mandalorian are eagerly waiting for the second season, which will premiere on October 30, 2020.

The show made a significant breakthrough in the first season, and fans expect it to retake its position. Last month, Disney+ released a trailer showing off some interesting facts of the show’s eagerly awaited Season 2.

A new character dressed in a black cloak and black hood is seen in the trailer. Fans are keen to note that the new character watching Pedro Pascal and Baby Yoda is Sasha Banks.

What are fans saying about Sasha Banks’s appearance in ‘The Mandalorian’?

Sasha Banks or the Boss, real name Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado is a flamboyant superstar in the WWE. Since January, Banks has not been featured in the wrestling arena, making her fans eager for her next project.

Her appearance in The Mandalorian’s second season as a mystery character is receiving both negative and positive views. She makes an entrance to her acting career by featuring in one of the top Disney plus shows.

Banks featuring as a cloaked woman does not confirm the role she will take in the show. However, fans are doing some speculations about her character, and most have a dark theory about Banks’ mystery character.

Her somber expressions and mysterious disappearance in the trailer gives fans a hint of Banks taking up a menacing character.

She will likely be an enemy of Pascal and Baby Yoda, and her antagonizing character will bring more evil than good to the two main characters of the series.

Speculating theories say that Banks might take up Star Wars Rebels Sabine Wren’s role or the role of Clone Wars character Ahsoka.

Despite the guesses being well thought, the trailer hints Banks taking up a sinister role. It merely means she might take up a dark side character of an imperial inquisitor that does not support the rebels.

The inquisitors are loyal employees and dark side agents of the Emperor Palpatine. The primary role of the inquisitors is to hunt down surviving Jedi.

During the Galactic Civil War, the Jedi were declared extinct, thus ending the role of inquisitors. Five years later, Mandalorian illustrates the return of the Jedi, and the inquisitors will probably be back to haunt the existing Jedi and the child. The child is identified as a force-sensitive in the series and needs to be captured and killed.

Banks is likely to take up one of the inquisitor’s role and help Moff Gideon in his endeavors. That role involves working alongside an army of death troopers in a mission to hunt down a child.

The character of a hunter could play an excellent role in helping Banks portray her WWE fighting skills. The role gives her an extraordinary place to illustrate her ‘Bossy’ nature from the WWE show.

Could Sahsa Banks be a bounty hunter?

On Reddit, theories and predictions about the upcoming new season range from Jedi-turned-Imperials to baby-stealing assassins.

“I like the theory going around that she’s an unused Clone Wars character named Latrans,” one fan wrote, “who was a bounty hunter posing as a Jedi to steal force-sensitive children.”

Sasha Banks’s role is exciting, and her fans believe her introduction to the show does not assist Jedi in the quest but instead, she works on the parallel side.

Although there is no certainty in her show’s essential role, the speculations are based on the trailer.
