The Miz is one of WWE’s most charismatic wrestlers. For 16 years, The Miz had entertained audiences on RAW and Smackdown with his A-lister heel gimmick. Aside from his wrestling accomplishments, Miz is also a mainstream celebrity with his television and film projects. Although fans love to boo him, they’ll be cheering for him when he participates in this reality competition series.

The Miz will compete on the upcoming season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Miz is trading the squared circle for the dance floor. According to Cageside Seats, Miz will be one of the contestants in the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. There’s no word yet on who Miz’s partner will be, but the wrestler is ready to get on the dance floor based on his latest tweet.

Joining Miz for the show’s 30th season includes actor Brian Austin Green, Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, talk show host Amanda Kloots, and pop star JoJo Siwa. As wrestling fans know, Miz will have his work cut out for him, yet he has a competitive spirit. Let’s hope he doesn’t have to resort to cheating to win.

Other WWE wrestlers who’ve competed on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Miz becomes the latest WWE wrestler to compete on Dancing With the Stars. The first star to appear in the ABC reality competition was former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, part of the season two cast. Although Keibler and her partner Tony Dovolani were a fan favorite and a shoo-in to win, they finished third in the competition.

Season 12 featured wrestling icon Chris Jericho, who was paired with Cheryl Burke. Unfortunately, Jericho didn’t fare any better than Keibler and was the fifth contestant eliminated.

In 2017, Nikki Bella’s turn on the dance floor when she competed on season 25 of Dancing With the Stars. Nikki and her partner Artem Chigvintsev wowed viewers with their amazing chemistry and sultry dance moves. Despite receiving high scores and praise from the judges, the pair was eliminated during week six. However, there was a happy ending. Nikki and Artem became engaged and welcomed their son Matteo in July 2020.

The Miz’s reality show career

Dancing With the Stars isn’t Miz’s only brush with reality TV. Before joining WWE, he was on the MTV series The Real World and The Challenge. In 2004, he competed on the WWE reality show Tough Enough for a shot at a contract. Although he came in second, Miz was later signed to the promotion and began his journey as one of WWE’s top stars.
