Eventually, the drama comes to a head. Bradley confronts Alex as she’s leaving the party and informs her she’s going to go “toe-to-toe” with her when they start working together again. They’re not friends but “equals” who will battle it out for screen time.

Mia Jordan (Karen Pittman) has a brief discussion with a co-worker about whether or not they should cover it on the show. Yanko Flores (Nestor Carbonell) wonders if they should cover people getting sick thousands of miles away. Daniel Henderson (Desean Terry) says they should give it airtime, suggesting someone on staff should go overseas to report on the story. Bradley agrees and, later, Daniel finds himself on a plane to China.
