The Office featured many great relationships. However, the relationship of Pam Beasley and Jim Halpert may just be one of the greatest love stories that was ever told.

The two characters were played by Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski and these two talented actors did an amazing job at illustrating the trials and tribulations that most people have to go through when they are transitioning from friends to romantic partners.

Pam and Jim not only proved that it is possible to move out of the “friend zone,” but they also showed us that when that happens, it is possible for those two people to start a family and live happily ever after.

Because The Office is currently streaming on Netflix, many fans are starting to relieve the magical moments of Jim and Pam’s relationship for the second time. And because we also can’t get enough of their love story, we thought that we would take a trip down memory lane and share some of our favorite Jim and Pam moments from the show.

Pam Beasley is the receptionist at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton. From the very first episode, fans can tell that one of the company’s top salesman, Jim Halpert, has a crush on her.

For the first two seasons, Pam is engaged to a man named Roy who works at the company’s warehouse. While she is engaged, Pam and Jim remain strictly friends, although the romantic tension between the two is extremely obvious and leaves many fans wishing that she would call things off with her fiance.

At the end of season two, things become very tense between Jim and Pam when Jim admits to her that he is in love with her and kisses her. At first, she rejects Jim and tells him that there can never be anything between them because she is engaged to another man.

Jim is devastated by the rejection and asked to be transferred to a new branch so that he doesn’t have to see Pam anymore.

After the transfer, Pam decides to break up with Roy. However, Jim meets someone at his new branch named Karen and the two start dating. When the corporate office announces that Jim’s new branch is being shut down and all of the employees are being transferred to Scranton, things become extremely awkward between Jim, Pam, and Karen.

Pam decides to get back with Roy for a little bit, but it doesn’t take long before they have split up again. Meanwhile, Jim can’t contain his feelings for Pam and he decides to break things off with Karen.

On the last episode of Season 3, Jim surprises us all when interrupts Pam’s interview to ask her out on a date.

Jim Halpert and Pam Beasley are relationship goals

During season four of The Office, fans get to finally see how great Pam and Jim are together as a couple. Their relationship continues to grow through the fourth season, and in season five, fans wait anxiously for Jim to ask Pam to marry him.

In season five, Jim had almost asked Pam to marry him at Toby’s farewell party, but before he could pop the question, Andy had stolen the show and asked Angela to be his wife. A few weeks later, Pam decides to go to art school in New York. Jim and Pam are determined to make their new long-distance relationship work and they usually travel every couple of weeks to see each other.

Then, one weekend Jim and Pam decide to meet each other at a location halfway between Scranton and New York. They meet at a gas station during a strong rainstorm. When Jim sees Pam, he surprises her by getting down on one knee and proposing to her.

The camera is a good distance away and you can’t hear what is said. However, you can see Pam nodding her head yes.
