Ree has never been shy about declaring her love for Ladd. She even filmed an episode of “The Pioneer Woman” show titled “10 Things I Love About Ladd,” which aired during season 22, episode 2. As the title suggests, this episode was all about the things she loves about her husband. She says some of the things she loves about him include his eyes, his laugh, his parenting, and his good looks.

For this special episode, Ree cooked some of Ladd’s favorite foods. The menu included Spatchcock BBQ chicken with apple brown sugar BBQ sauce, waffle fries with sour cream and onion dip, and spoon cake chocolate frosting.

Last year, for Ree’s 50th birthday, Ladd threw a surprise party for the Food Network star. Here’s the message she posted on Instagram about her special night:

Ladd had a surprise birthday party for me last night. I was truly surprised. My sister was there from Seattle, my closest high school friends came from San Diego, Dallas, Kansas City, and Atlanta, and my oldest/dearest childhood friends were there, too. Friends and family from Pawhuska showed up, and our Mercantile chefs and bakers made a spread of food I’ll be daydreaming about for the rest of my life.

At the end of the evening, we were gathered around a fire pit laughing so hard about old stories and memories that our ribs hurt. I had been telling my husband that I really wanted the whole birthday thing to blow over this year and just pretend it never happened. I’m so glad the little booger decided not to listen to me.

This year, Ree took time out to honor Ladd on his birthday. It’s not unusual for her to talk about how much she adores her husband’s good looks. In her post, Ree couldn’t help herself, writing, “Best lips in the world. I’m sorry, but it’s true. I love you, honey. Happy birthday.”

Ladd Drummond says he loves working on the ranch so he can be with his family

The host of NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen asked Ladd how he felt about having the entire family on the ranch and being able to see his kids and work with Ree each day. Ladd responded by saying that being with family is what he enjoys most about working on the ranch:

We truly are blessed. Getting to work with the kids and having Ree around and we’re all on the ranch together. It’s truly just a blessing. That’s what really makes it the most fun about everything, is being able to work with everyone. I work with my brother, my dad. Like a lot of ranching operations, we have a lot of family involved, and that’s probably really the best part about it.
