‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond Revealed the Name of Her New Cookbook

The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond recently announced yet another cookbook is on the way. Not much information was given when she first told fans about the book, but new details are now available. Here’s what the Food Network star shared about the name and theme of her latest cookbook.

Drummond has released many books throughout her career. The Food Network star released her first cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl, in 2010. In 2012, she released her second cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier. The following year, Drummond came out with The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays.

Drummond’s other cookbooks include The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Dinnertime (2015); The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Come and Get It!: Simple, Scrumptious Recipes for Crazy Busy Lives (2017); and The Pioneer Woman Cooks: The New Frontier: 112 Fantastic Favorites for Everyday Eating (2019).

The name of Ree Drummond’s new cookbook

Drummond recently announced her latest cookbook will be released soon. She says the book should be out this October. During her virtual book tour, Drummond joked she will have to start exercising after testing all of those recipes, reports The Pioneer Woman website.

If you’ve been waiting for the name of Drummond’s latest book, the wait is over. She revealed her next book will be called The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Super Easy! “I am so excited about it,” says Drummond on The Pioneer Woman website. “It’ll have lots of recipes with shortcut ingredients, which I think everyone needs permission to make.”

A lot of work goes into producing a cookbook

Drummond is thrilled about her new book but she admits it can be tough to clean up the kitchen after testing out pages of recipes. Doing dishes is one part of the process she says she doesn’t look forward to.

“You know how when I’m cooking on Food Network, my kitchen is neat, and the ingredients are organized and I can almost always find the tool or bowl I need?” asks Drummond. “That’s exactly how it is when I work on my cookbook—NOT!” she joked.

 “In real life, when I’m developing and testing recipes, my kitchen quickly becomes a crazy mess of pots and pans and open containers,” admits Drummond.

Another tough part about writing a cookbook is planning what to wear on the book cover. Drummond says she struggles to figure out which top will look best on her. It’s something she puts a lot of thought into because she says she will have to see herself in the top she picks forever since it will be on the book’s cover. She must choose clothing she will be happy with for years to come.

“Choosing a shirt for the cover is a big commitment,” said Drummond. “I’ll be wearing it on the front of that cookbook forever! I always test out a few options to find the right one.”
