The Real Reason Why Freeform’s New Series ‘Good Trouble’ Is Going To Be Your New Guilty Pleasure
We’re only a few days into 2019 and we already have some amazing shows to kick off the new year!
One of those new shows is Freeform’s Good Trouble, which just premiered last night and people cannot stop talking about it.

What is Good Trouble?
Good Trouble is a spin-off of the Freeform original series The Fosters and follows sisters Callie and Mariana Adams-Foster as they move to Los Angeles to embark on professional careers.
Callie (Maia Mitchell) just graduated from law school and was offered a job at a law firm. Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) is a recent grad from MIT who just received a job at a tech company.
Both sisters leave behind San Diego and embark on the next phase of their lives. When they arrive in LA, the girls realize that they have a lot to learn when it comes to their jobs and personal lives.
Last night was the series premiere and fans loved every second of Callie and Mariana’s crazy journey into adulthood.
This series reflects the world we live in
This series is already sitting well with fans because it touches upon real life issues many young adults face this day in age.
Many of us assume that life after college will be a breeze, but we are rudely awakened the minute we step foot into to real world.
Callie and Mariana were able to realize this the moment they moved to Los Angeles.
After moving into a hostel and dealing with a less than exciting living situation, Callie and Mariana embark on the first day of their professional jobs.
Mariana gets a taste of what it is like working for a software development company, that is basically run by men.
Callie begins working for an honorable judge as a law clerk where she is in constant competition with her fellow clerks.
As the two sisters deal with very strenuous jobs, they also find that their personal lives aren’t going too great either.
Even though their lives are pretty hectic, Callie and Mariana rely on each other to be there when things are too tough to handle. Isn’t that what sisters are for?

The show perfectly captures what all 20-somethings go through when they are first starting out. Many of us have to go through the journey of a new career, a new living situation, and even a few new relationships along the way. That’s what growing up is all about!
Good Trouble shows us that life isn’t at all easy and it is up to us to make it worthwhile.
