If you don’t have Netflix, there’s no problem. The Vampire Diaries is available to purchase on Amazon for $1.99 per episode or $24.99 for seasons 1-3 and $29.99 for seasons 4-8. The series is also available to purchase on Youtube.

However, if you don’t want to spend extra money in order to watch the series, you’re out of luck. The show can not be streamed for free anywhere. Therefore the best option, without spending any extra money, is probably Netflix. Though we’ll let you decide for yourself if it’s worth it or not to spend the extra money, since the show is a good one.

It’s safe to say that the show was a success. It was a hit for the CW, and therefore ran for 8 seasons. Even in its last season, it got good ratings, ending on a high of 1.148 million viewers.

Though that was actually not an all-time high for The Vampire Diaries, which averaged 3.53 million total viewers in season 7. So the ratings did go down a little for the final season. Yet the show was still viewed by the CW as a success and it was certainly very popular for them.

The acting on the show is superb. The writing can be difficult at times, but overall it’s good. Anyone watching — or rewatching — the show is in for a real supernatural treat!

Once you see the show, you will be drawn in and won’t be able to stop watching. So good thing it’s on Netflix, because it’s a great show to binge-watch. This is a must-see show, not only because it’s popular, but also because it’s always exciting and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert makes watching the show worthwhile just by being a fantastic actress portraying a wonderful character. Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore is also amazing, as is Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore. So let’s all go watch The Vampire Diaries now.
