Meghan McCain of The View is a vocal fan of the Real Housewives franchise. Appearing on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live along with bestie S.E. Cupp and actor/comedian Jerry O’Connell, the ABC co-host shared some names some of her faves in a round of “Bravo Superblatives” with Lisa Rinna scoring in two categories.

Meghan McCain will remain a fan – not the focus – of reality TV

The View panelist often speaks of binging reality shows, including Bravo TV’s Real Housewives and the Netflix blockbuster Tiger King. Yet she has no desire to be the subject of a show in that particular genre.

“Hell would freeze over before I would do a reality show,” McCain told Playboy in 2012. “I’ve been offered everything you could possibly imagine, and it just doesn’t interest me. You certainly won’t see me dancing on TV.”

Despite calling herself a “giant consumer of all reality television,” she reiterated her position on remaining a viewer (pardon the pun).

“I don’t do reality TV. It’s a hard no,” McCain said in December, according to People. “I don’t want a camera on me all the time — one hour a day is just fine.”

‘The View’ star is returning after maternity leave

Now on summer hiatus from The View, McCain is nearing her due date for her first child with husband Ben Domenech. During her WWHL appearance, Cohen read a fan question which asked if she would return to the daytime talk show after her baby is born. McCain is apparently growing tired of being subjected to this inquiry.

“Why does everyone ask me if I’m getting fired or quitting every 20 seconds?” the conservative co-host replied in frustration. “No other host has to deal with this BS. Yes, I’m coming back. It’s an election cycle.”

In a recent episode of The View, the panelists’ conversation on cancel culture prompted McCain to note that she has been a target for removal over the years.

“I think about cancel culture a lot. I think every person who’s in mainstream media that has a platform probably… thinks about it,” McCain told her co-hosts. “Cancel culture has tried to remove one of us from this show for one reason or another… By some miracle, we’re all still here. And I think the greatest miracle is still me somehow being here.””

Meghan McCain shows love for Lisa Rinna

A bona fide mega fan of the Real Housewives franchise, McCain previously shared how she incorporated the series into her first Mother’s Day celebration.

“I watched the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion on Bravo and it was amazing,” she revealed on how she spent the holiday, according to Yahoo! Money. “So that’s what I did yesterday. It was really good.”

With vast knowledge of the stars on the Bravo TV staple, McCain participated in a round of Cohen’s “Bravo Superblatives.” Each guest named a cast member for a series of categories including Best Dressed, Least Supportive Husband, Best Sur Employee, and Best Shade Thrower.

Though The View co-host is a self-proclaimed Team Erika Jayne member, McCain hesitantly named another RHOBH star for Best Pot Stirrer.

“Is it Lisa Rinna? I think she prides herself on that,” McCain answered, only to later interject, “Or [RHOA’s] Phaedra!”

When the topic changed to Cutest Bravo Couple, McCain gave props to Rinna’s longtime marriage. “I really love Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s relationship,” The View panelist said.

Rinna tweeted her appreciations to McCain with some emojis, with the political pundit replying in kind.
