‘The Voice’ Season 21 finale date and time

Before The Voice can name a winner, fans will need to see one more round of performances. Those will happen on Monday, Dec. 13, from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. Because it’s a two-hour show, the Top 5 artists will likely perform at least two songs each. The Live Shows typically have a theme for each week, although NBC has not yet revealed the finale’s theme.

So far, season 21 has included themes like Fan Week, Dedication Week, and ’90s Week. Past seasons have also included a week where the artists perform one cover and one original song, so that could happen in part one of the finale.

Fans can vote for their favorite artists until Tuesday at 7 a.m. ET. Then, on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 8 p.m. ET, the final results show begins. Unlike the typical Tuesday shows, this one will be two hours long.

Who are ‘The Voice’ Season 21 Top 5 finalists?

The Voice Season 21 featured incredible talent all around, but only five artists could make it to the finale. Both of Kelly Clarkson’s remaining artists, Girl Named Tom and Hailey Mia, made it into the Top 5. A win from either of these contestants would mark a milestone for The Voice; Girl Named Tom would become the first trio to take home the trophy, while Hailey Mia would be the youngest winner ever at age 14.

John Legend’s last remaining artist in the competition is Jershika Maple. The 24-year-old artist went from working full-time as a security guard to singing on The Voice, and she’s impressed the coaches with her strong emotions every week.

Blake Shelton has two artists in the Top 5: Paris Winningham and Wendy Moten. Both singers blew the coaches and viewers away with their ’90s duet on Dec. 6. Wendy, in particular, has been considered a powerhouse all season, and she’s a solid contender for the trophy.

Unfortunately, Ariana Grande’s team was eliminated during the Dec. 7 results show. Her final artists, father-son duo Jim and Sasha Allen, went home after one last performance. Ariana might be out of the competition, but she’s made it clear she will continue to support every one of her artists.

Fans can expect plenty of musical performances and more

For the most part, The Voice finales are usually akin to a two-hour concert special. The evening will be filled with musical performances and end with host Carson Daly naming the winner in the final minutes. At the time of this writing, NBC has not yet revealed the full list of musical guests. However, Kelly told Entertainment Tonight that she would sing her new Christmas song during Monday’s show.

“I am so excited to perform ‘Christmas isn’t Cancelled (Just You)’ live on The Voice,” she said. “The holidays can bring up all sorts of emotions, so whether you are feeling hopeful, happy, sad, or in need of some holiday cheer, may this season bring you all joy and peace.”

Fans can likely also expect to see performances from all four coaches and their teammates — even those previously eliminated.

The Voice airs on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m. on NBC.
