The Young and the Restless villain Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) has become Genoa City’s pariah. After lying about his illness, Ashland has been shunned by the Newmans and other town residents. Despite promising to change, Ashland may go back on his word when he meets Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Ashland Locke and Diane Jenkins become friends on ‘The Young and the Restless’

Ashland’s been struggling lately with his marriage to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) falling apart. Despite saving Victoria from a car crash, the Newmans aren’t ready to welcome him back into the family. Ashland manages to forget about his stress briefly when he has a playdate with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) meet Ashland in the park so he can spend time with his stepson. While Kyle is more than willing to let Ashland see Harrison, Summer is against the idea. After Ashland leaves, the couple’s family time with Harrison is interrupted by Diane. Kyle introduces Harrison to Diane, and while Diane is happy to see her grandson, Summer cuts the heartwarming moment short.

Later Diane meets Ashland, and the two commiserate about their bad days. After introducing themselves, the pair realize they have more in common than they thought.

‘The Young and the Restless’ fans are supportive of Ashland Locke and Diane Jenkins’ partnership

Ashland is fighting a losing battle on The Young and the Restless. With the Newmans rallying against him, he doesn’t stand a fighting chance. But a new acquaintance may provide him with some much-needed assistance.

Diane has her issues with the Newmans and the Abbotts. Everyone’s trying to run her out of town between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Victor and Nikki Newman (Eric Braeden and Melody Thomas Scott). However, she’s here to stay, and Ashland will give her the incentive.

Since they’re both town pariahs, the two will team up to take on their enemies. Ashland and Diane’s partnership is gaining support from fans on Twitter.

“Ashland and Diane? That could be a spectacular storyline!!! Look out, Genoa City!!” wrote one viewer.

“Can’t wait for Ashland and Diane to make their moves!” declared another fan.

“Way to go, Ashland and Diane, excitement ahead,” another commenter replied.

The devilish duo stir up trouble in Genoa City

Ashland and Diane have a long list of enemies on The Young and the Restless. Of course, the Newmans are at the top of Ashland’s list, and Diane would be happy to help take them down. Diane’s already working her magic by getting Nikki riled up. The two argue in Crimson Lights this week and throw down with a few slaps.

‘The Young and the Restless’: Victoria Gives Ashland a Second Chance

But the Newmans aren’t the only family on Ashland and Diane’s warpath. Diane’s primary focus is getting back into Kyle’s life, while Ashland wants to maintain a relationship with Harrison. But with Summer and Phyllis whispering in Kyle’s ear, Ashland and Diane might be cut out of their sons’ lives. However, if Ashland and Diane were to remove their obstacles, everything would be smooth sailing.

With Ashland and Diane being two notorious schemers, there’s no telling what tricks they have up their sleeves. The Newmans, Abbotts, and rest of Genoa City should be concerned as the devilish duo makes their presence known.
