‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Drops More Clues About Kevin and Madison in Episode 14
This Is Us fans are starting to get invested in Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Madison’s (Caitlin Thompson) relationship. But what’s next for the couple? NBC recently dropped photos of Kevin and Madison in This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14, and it certainly looks like the characters are ready for a new chapter.

In This Is Us Season 5, Kevin and Madison began exploring their relationship, and many fans questioned whether they were in love. Then when Kevin left to film a major movie in Canada alongside Robert De Niro, Madison told her partner to think about their future.
When Madison went into labor with the twins, Nicholas and Frances, Kevin realized he wanted to be all-in. He quit the movie and made it home in time for the birth. Kevin also proposed to Madison again. Now, the couple is preparing for their wedding.

Ahead of the all-new episode of This Is Us Season 5 on May 11, NBC dropped a few photos of Kevin and Madison from episode 14, “The Music and the Mirror.” Ultimately, the two characters seem perfectly fine together in the comfort of their home. But there’s more story beyond those walls.
In one of the photos, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) go wedding dress shopping with Madison. Of course, Madison and Kate are best friends. But This Is Us fans haven’t seen much from Madison and Rebecca. So it’ll be interesting to watch them interact in the new episode.
‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Episode 14 photos tease what’s next for Kevin’s career
While Madison gets closer to the Pearsons in This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14, it seems Kevin will deal with what’s left of his career. In the new teaser photos, Kevin is spotted with his movie’s director, Jordan Martin Foster (Stephen Friedrich). The two characters seem to be in a theater of sorts.
Meanwhile, executive producer Isaac Aptaker previously hinted that Kevin’s exit when Madison went into labor was a “nightmare” situation. Aptaker told Entertainment Weekly:
When you’re deep into a movie like that, and you walk off towards the end, it’s pretty difficult and expensive to redo the whole thing with a different actor. So in that sense, the odds are stacked in Kevin’s favor. But if you’re going to pick people to walk off the set from, I would say De Niro is definitely up there in nightmare situations. So it’s not great for Kevin.
Griffin Dunne will be back as Nicky in ‘The Music and the Mirror’
Whatever happens between Kevin and Jordan in This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14, it looks like we’re getting more returning characters on May 11. Griffin Dunne, who plays Uncle Nicky, is featured in NBC’s teaser photos. The character arrived at Kevin and Madison’s house after the twins’ birth. Meanwhile, Dunne previously hinted that Nicky will “overstay his welcome.”
NBC’s synopsis for “The Music and the Mirror” also revealed that someone from Kevin’s past will show up and put his life on “pause.” So it’s likely another familiar face will appear in the next episode. But for now, fans will just have to wait and see. Stay tuned.
