‘This Is Us’ Season 5: The Next 2 Episodes Tease Kevin and Madison’s Future Together
The May 4 episode of This Is Us might be a rerun, but you better set aside some time when the NBC drama returns on May 11 for the final three chapters. Ahead of the May 4 repeat, the network released the synopsis for This Is Us Season 5 Episodes 14 and 15. The new teasers suggest Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Madison’s (Caitlin Thompson) storyline will take center stage.

What happened to Kevin and Madison in ‘This Is Us’ Season 5?
In This Is Us Season 5, Kevin and Madison navigated their relationship while preparing for the birth of their twins. The romance was relatively new, and the couple didn’t know whether they were together out of obligation or love. Then Kevin left to film a movie in Vancouver, and Madison asked her partner to decide whether he was really all-in.
Finally, Kevin made his decision when Nicholas and Franny were born, and he re-proposed to Madison.
“Let’s make this official,” Kevin told Madison. “I know we’ve been engaged, but not engaged engaged. We’ve been dancing around the weirdness of it all. But I really want you to be my wife. I want to be a family.”
‘This Is Us’ Season 5 will return with episode 14 on May 11, 2021
Following This Is Us Season 5 Episode 13, NBC revealed the family drama will return for episode 14 on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. The next episode, titled “The Music and the Mirror,” will highlight a number of Pearson stories.
According to the synopsis for This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14, Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) will explore her career. The storyline is highlighted in the promo trailer, as Randall (Sterling K. Brown) asks Deja (Lyric Ross) to keep an eye out for his wife.
Meanwhile, Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) will face some “unexpected issues.” Then Kevin will be put on “pause” because he runs into someone from his past.
The ‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Episode 15 synopsis reveals what’s next for Kevin and Madison
For now, This Is Us fans will have to watch how Kevin’s past will creep up in season 5. But many fans believe one of Kevin’s former flames — Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge), Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison), or Zoe (Melanie Liburd) — will derail the upcoming wedding. All three women appeared at the end of episode 12 and reacted to Kevin and Madison’s engagement news.
That said, the description for This Is Us Season 5 Episode 15, titled “Jerry 2.0,” suggested that Kevin and Madison’s plans will still move forward after episode 14. So the NBC drama may be gearing up for a big wedding in the This Is Us Season 5 finale.
“Kevin and Madison partake in their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties,” the synopsis says.
Meanwhile, NBC didn’t reveal what’s next for the other members of the Pearson family. But according to Haute Living, the new This Is Us episode on May 18 will be directed by the one and only Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack Pearson. So stay tuned. This one’s going to be one to watch.
