During the panel, Fogelman also revealed that he had just finished writing the This Is Us finale.

“We all got a text from Dan last night saying, ‘Guys, I just finished it,’” Milo Ventimiglia said during the panel, according to a report from Today.

This Is Us director Ken Olin, who is directing the finale, confirmed on Twitter that Fogelman sent him the series finale script on April 2.

While the finale has been written, it doesn’t sound like the cast has had the opportunity to read the finale ahead of the PaleyFest panel. Mandy Moore told Access Hollywood that she had not read the finale yet during an interview at PaleyFest.
