How will the show end?

Though the cast already knows how things will end for This Is Us that hasn’t stopped the tears from flowing. In fact, they have been giving fans major hints about what’s to come. This Is Us showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Dan Fogelman told Deadline that they are aiming for an “elegant” and “satisfying” ending.

Ventimiglia said that he was completely blown away by how we will get to say goodbye to the Pearsons. “I’ve got an idea of how I would want it to end, but I also know how it does end,” the actor told US Weekly. “My version is completely shadowed by how great of an ending [creator Dan] Fogelman has come up with.”

Fogelman has also promised to answer all of our questions and to tie up any loose ends. “I think by the time we’re in our sixth season, you’ll have a lot of the information about what’s happened to this family and what will be left is some resolution,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “I think when the show eventually comes to an end, I think in the best way, it’ll be very quiet and normal. That’s always been the plan, because at the end of the day, it’s a story about this kind of regular family.”
