Tina wants to go on a haunted hayride with Jimmy Jr. in ‘Bob’s Burgers’

In the newest episode of Bob’s Burgers, Tina’s biggest wish is to go on a haunted hayride with her crush, Jimmy Jr. The only problem? Tammy won’t invite her.

In class, Tina’s partner does not show up to dissect the fetal pigs. Out of all the pigs, the class decides Tina’s pig looks the weirdest. To try and make the popular kids laugh, Tina mocks the fetal pig. After class, Jimmy Jr. invites Tina to the hayride and Tammy begrudgingly agrees.

Tina is then haunted by the spirit of the fetal pig

Because of the guilt she feels for mocking the fetal pig, Tina is haunted by the pig’s spirit. She has nightmares and seeks out Louise’s help. Gene, who is already awake from getting a midnight snack, also joins them. Louise concludes that Tina is being haunted by a pig demon because it feels betrayed by Tina.

The main plot of the episode follows Louise and Gene trying to help Tina. Because of her nightmares, Tina does not sleep at all and falls asleep in class. Every time she falls asleep, she has nightmares. The three siblings go to the school library and Louise searches how to stop the pig from haunting Tina on a school computer.

They come up with the plan for Tina to bury the pig with a drop of her blood. Tina recovers the pig from the school dumpster and the group takes the pig to the woods. Tina buries the pig and declares herself free of being haunted.

Bob has hearing troubles in the ‘Bob’s Burgers’ episode

While the kids deal with Tina being haunted, Bob and Linda have their own problem. Bob can’t hear anything and he discovers that there is so much earwax in his ear it’s blocking his hearing. Thanks to advice from Linda, Bob is able to get it out of one ear. Linda proudly shows off the ball of earwax to the kids when they come home from school.

When Linda tries to get the earwax out of the other ear, Bob refuses her help because he does not like things going near his ear. The story line between Bob and Linda embraces their wholesome marriage. The couple is not afraid to be gross with each other and manages to use the conflict over Bob’s earwax as a way to grow closer.

Tina goes on the haunted hayride with Jimmy Jr.

After burying the pig, Tina goes on the haunted hayride with Jimmy Jr. and her classmates. Just as Jimmy Jr. is about to kiss her, Tina falls asleep because she is so tired from her nightmares. While she sleeps on the hayride, Tina has another nightmare about the pig.

In her dream, Tina realizes that she is not actually being haunted by the fetal pig. Instead, she just feels guilty for caving to peer pressure. Tina wakes up and tells the group on the hayride that she regrets making fun of the pig.

Later on Halloween, the Belcher family sit together in their living room eating candy. Gene heats up a candy bar by sitting on it and Tina finally catches up on sleep. Bob sneezes, and the remaining earwax falls out onto the pile of candy.
