Tamar Braxton’s fans continue praying for the Grammy-nominated singer amid reports of her hospitalization. The Braxton Family Values star is vocal about her issues with We TV. Multiple reports are floating around stating that the Braxton family are leery of Tamar’s boyfriend, David Adefeso. Other information has been leaked about Tamar’s personal life and Tamar’s oldest sister Towanda is denying her family are the ones doing the talking.

Tamar Braxton has been open about her love for David Adefeso

Tamar met David at a party of a mutual friend and the two have been inseparable ever since. David has appeared on Braxton Family Values. The family met David on camera and gushed that they’d never seen Tamar as giddy with a man as she is with David.

Tamar has been open about her desire to marry and start a family with David. The two currently live together with Tamar’s seven-year-old son, Logan.

David is also fiercely protective of Tamar. She’s the first woman to meet his family and the two traveled to David’s hometown of Nigeria to spend time with his mother and siblings.

“@david.adefeso is a dream come true and coming home was the BEST thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m so honored to be apart [sic] of this spectacular family,” Tamar wrote about her and David’s experience in Nigeria.

David also revealed that if his family did not approve of Tamar, he would have chosen Tamar over them. Luckily, David’s family loves his new lady. The two have been together for almost two years.

Reports surface that the Braxton family aren’t fond of Tamar Braxton’s boyfriend

TMZ shared the emotional 911 call that Adefeso places after finding Tamar unresponsive. In the call, Adefeso explains that Tamar has been in an ongoing battle with We TV over her contract for Braxton Family Values and her new spinoff, Get Ya Life.

The trailer for Get Ya Life is believed to be what triggered Tamar. The singer and reality star is allegedly not pleased with her depiction.

TMZ posted another story alleging that the Braxton family is suspicious of found Adefeso’s mention of We TV during the 911 call.

The report also alleges that the family believes Tamar’s behavior is a direct result of how Adefeso feels and that it was actually Adefeso who was unhappy about his portrayal in the trailer.

Towanda Braxton shuts down rumors her family are speaking to media

The Braxton family remains mute on all details surrounding Tamar’s hospitalization. Towanda, Traci, and Trina have requested prayer for Tamar on social media and have thanked fans for their outpouring of support.

The Braxton’s niece, Ashlee Braxton, also shared a message to her Instagram story asking for privacy as the family bans together to get through this difficult time.

After TMZ’s various reports, Towanda sent a message to the media outlet on her Instagram story, slamming them for their reporting.

It’s unclear who is speaking to the press, but this isn’t the first case of information being leaked since Tamar’s hospitalization. Several media outlets, including TMZ, shared a private email that Tamar allegedly sent to We TV.

In the letter, Tamar accuses the network of ruining her family and revealing her experience with sexual abuse, which Tamar says made her contemplate suicide previously. 

In a May 2020 interview with Showbiz, Towanda admitted the relationship between the Braxton sisters was slightly strained and the sisters were setting boundaries with one another.
