Travis Scott is doing his part to make sure his daughter Stormi Webster, who he shares with Kylie Jenner, grows up to be a “strong” and independent woman.

In a new interview, the rapper opened up about his desire to teach Stormi that the sky’s the limit for her and how he’s instilling in her the knowledge she needs to “move in this world.”

Travis Scott is teaching Stormi to know she can do “anything a man can do”

While appearing on the latest episode of .WAV Radio with Chase B, Scott got incredibly candid — and emotional — as he shared how he and Jenner are bringing up their 2-year-old daughter to be a “strong” young woman.

Though Stormi’s only a toddler, the “SICKO MODE” rapper feels that now is the best time to start instilling as much knowledge as he can in her, especially with all that is going in America at the moment.

“I feel like it’s way more important now to protect our young Black daughters, women,” he explains. “Making sure they have the knowledge of just how to carry yourself, how to move in this world, how to be strong, how to not even be scared to take that risk on any idea.”

Scott adds that he wants Stormi to have a “pure vision” of what she’s capable of and for her and other little Black girls to grow up knowing that the world is their oyster — no matter the odds.

“Now, more than ever, it’s like they have the vision,” he continued. “Whether it’s for anything a man can do, anything a woman can do. They got the pure vision.”

Scott is already educating the toddler on current events

Seeing as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has put the lives of many on standstill, Scott has been using these last few months to squeeze in as much quality time with his two-year-old daughter as possible.

Not only has he been doting much of his attention to Stormi as he can, but the “Antidote” rapper has also been educating the toddler on what’s going on in the world, namely in the form of protests against racism, police brutality, and social injustice.

“It’s amazing just to watch my daughter grow,” he told GQ in August. “I’m keeping her aware of what’s going on in the world. As a parent, I’m always instilling knowledge, even at this age.”

Jenner and Scott are raising a strong and optimistic daughter

With the help of Jenner, who Scott split from in October 2019, the A-listers are doing everything they can to be an example to their little girl, who already has a strong personality and optimistic spirit.

While Jenner and Scott still have a lot to teach Stormi, continuing to instill in her how to be a strong woman will likely remain the former couple’s no.1 top priority for many years to come.
