Tristan Thompson Gave Daughter True Roses While Picking Her Up From Gymnastics Class Amid Paternity Scandal
Tristan Thompson has been making headlines this past month after a woman named Maralee Nichols alleged he is the father of her son and sued for child support.
Many people now wonder how these events will affect Thompson’s daughter True, whom he is raising with Khloé Kardashian. A news outlet reported that Thompson was seen picking up True from class with roses.

On Jan. 3, 2022, Thompson took to Instagram to reveal the result of the paternity test he recently did. The basketball player shared that Nichols’ infant child is indeed his.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” Thompson wrote. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He also added, “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
Nichols’ lawyer, Harvey Englander, told Us Weekly that “there was never any doubt” Thompson was her child’s father.
Thompson now has three kids. His oldest son, Prince, was born to his ex, Jordan Craig, in 2016. Meanwhile, True was born in 2018.

This paternity scandal has no doubt put the Kardashian-Jenners under a microscope, especially Khloé Kardashian and True. Kardashian has not responded to these events, however.
Nonetheless, according to TMZ, Thompson picked up True from her gymnastics class on Jan. 3 an hour before he revealed the paternity test result on Instagram.
“Tristan sat in a waiting SUV while someone from inside the class brought out what we’re told was close to 100 roses,” TMZ wrote in an article accompanying a video of Thompson outside the class.
The outlet added, “A source close to Thompson tells us the flowers were for True, who he hadn’t seen in a few days.”

Thompson also took to Instagram to offer a public apology to Kardashian, whom he has been dating on and off. The couple has dealt with numerous cheating scandals in the past few years, and Thompson was officially “on” with Kardashian when he conceived a child with Nichols—which was some time during March or April of 2021, as reported by People.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” Thompson said. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.”
He also added, “I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
Kardashian and Thompson broke up in June 2021. However, they reportedly continue to spend a lot of time together they co-parent True.
