’90 Day Fiancé’: Big Ed Brown Is Selling Costumes So People Can Be Him for Halloween
You may have thought that Big Ed Brown would fade out of the limelight after his season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days ended. But as Halloween season starts to gear up, you might actually see more of Brown than ever before.
Who is Big Ed Brown?
Brown appeared on season 4 of Before the 90 Days with his girlfriend-at-the-time Rose Vega. Brown and Vega’s relationship and age difference caused a huge rift between Brown and his daughter. But despite the backlash he received for being with Vega, Brown still went to the Philipines to meet her.
As soon as Brown got there, Vega realized that he had lied to her about a number of things.
“So, I wasn’t completely honest with Rose about [my height] and a couple of other things,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s never a good idea to lie. You have to be honest and I’m learning that even if you have strong feelings for someone, it’s better to get it out in the open. If not, it’s gonna come back and bite you.”
From there, the relationship went from bad to worse. Brown tried to make Vega take an STD test, told her to shave her legs, and bought her mouthwash because he said her breath stunk.
Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega’s breakup
Despite Brown being rude to Vega for pretty much the whole time they were in the Philipines, Vega continued to date Brown. She didn’t reach her breaking point until Brown told her that he didn’t want kids.
“I should have been more truthful,” Brown told Vega on the show. “I apologize. I should’ve said I don’t want more kids, but I wanted to get to know you. I wanted [you] to get to know me to make sure we are compatible.”
But by that time, Vega had had enough of Brown.
“I know who [you are]. I think,” she said to him. “First [you] lied to me about [your] height. Right? Then, you want to give me an STD test right? And about mouthwash, why you tell me? You know I [am] sick, I have [an] ulcer.
“I’m disappointed because you always embarrassed me,” she continued. “I think [you] don’t love me. I’m done.”
Life after ‘Before the 90 Days’
After Before the 90 Days ended, Brown appeared on the spinoff B90 Strikes Back. He has been using Cameo as a means to make money and will often post some of the videos to his Instagram. Brown does not seem to be dating anyone.
The Halloween costume
After Brown appeared on Before the 90 Days, he began to get a lot of criticism from fans. As a response, he created his own clothing line and promised to donate some of the proceeds to charity.
“A portion of my proceeds are going to be donated to online bullying because it just sucks and I’m tired of seeing it,” he said in a video on Instagram. “So I’m going to make whatever difference I can in this world by helping out in that manner.”
