27-year-old Emily Larin and 31-year-old Sasha Larin made fans of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé sit up and take notice as soon as Season 7 began. The couple met in Larin’s home country of Russia, when Larina left her hometown of Portland, Oregon, to study abroad. Larin was Larina’s personal trainer, and the rest was history.

The 90 Day Fiancé couple made headlines right away because Larina is set to be Larin’s third wife and the mother of his third child. On a previous episode, Larin’s first ex-wife claimed that he was neither an active father nor a faithful husband, sparking rumors that Larin may also have been unfaithful to his second wife with Larina.

Recently, though, Larina has been clapping back at critics on social media. She took to Instagram to push back against 90 Day Fiancé viewers about her approach to childbirth, as well as her decision to vaccinate her infant son.

Larina struggled with a complicated birth on ’90 Day Fiancé’

On the Nov. 17 episode, “What Am I Worth to You,” Larina struggled with a complicated birth in a Russian hospital. Larin was by her side as the 90 Day Fiancé star wrestled with hours of painful labor (with a language barrier with the medical team to boot).

Their son was in a breech position, making labor especially challenging. Ultimately, Larina’s son was delivered via emergency C-section.

After the episode aired, Larina wrote on Instagram next to an adorable picture of her son, “I’m so glad the world got to meet our perfect, sweet David Alexandrovich Larin. He is the sweetest baby I could ever ask for.”

The 27-year-old pushed back against critics on social media

Soon after the TLC episode aired, Larina took to her Instagram stories to celebrate her son’s birth. The Season 7 90 Day Fiancé star wrote, as reported by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates, “All births are beautiful. No matter if it’s hospital, home, natural, with an epidural, or a c-section.”

Larina also defended herself against mom-shamers who had claimed she hadn’t done enough during her lengthy labor with little David. “For those saying I should have gotten up, moved around, squatted, changed my position. B**CH, I did,” she wrote in her Instagram stories.

She added that the nature of filming for reality television meant that every moment of her son’s birth couldn’t possibly have been captured. “They had to cut down over 10 hours into one segment,” she explained. “My baby boy was stubborn and wasn’t going anywhere.”

The ’90 Day Fianc é ‘ star also debated fans about her son’s vaccinations

The 90 Day Fiancé star also recently posted a photo of little David with two bandages on his legs, playing contently with a toy after having been vaccinated. Larina captioned the Instagram photo with a link to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) fact sheet about the importance of vaccination for babies.

Some viewers didn’t take kindly to the TLC star’s stance on vaccination. As reported by Yates, one commenter wrote in part under the snapshot, “Poor baby…how many toxins and diseases was baby injected with this time?”

But Larina defended herself once again, describing the illnesses that children could face without routine vaccination before adding, “…here you are coming on my page with your wild conspiracy theories that could put more children in [harm’s] way. That’s really gross.”

The 90 Day Fiancé star and new mom screenshotted the exchange on her Instagram stories and added the comment: “I don’t have time for these fools today.”
