’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Blast Rebecca Parrot Over Her Reaction to Zied Hakimi’s ‘Hot’ New Friend

Rebecca Parrot and her Tunisian fiancé, Zied Hakimi are finally living together in the United States. But on the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé,  Rebecca started letting some of her possessive qualities show. And after seeing her reaction to Zied’s innocent conversation with her daughter Tiffany’s young female friend, some fans are blasting her for being jealous and controlling. 

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ couple journey began in 2019

Rebecca and Zied first appeared on season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2019. The two revealed that they met on Facebook. And after chatting online, Rebecca,49, flew from Georgia to Tunisia to meet Zied, 27.

The couple spent three weeks together in Tunis. And after working through issues about their age and cultures, they got engaged before Rebecca left. Upon her return to America, Rebecca applied for Zied’s K-1 fiancé visa. 

Rebecca snaps at Zied for talking to a young woman

In the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Rebecca and Zied join Tiffany and Micah’s friends for dinner. One of Tiffany’s girlfriends strikes up a conversation with Zied and asks him about his culture. But Rebecca is not having any of it. 

“You know, Zied, he’s a really friendly guy,” Rebecca says in a confessional. “He can talk to anyone, but this young, hot girl seems way overly focused on him. I’ve kind of had him to myself all this time, and now on top of everything, I noticed I’m the only one at the table in my age group, and I understand I signed up for this, but, in reality, it makes me uncomfortable.”

But when Zied accepts the young woman’s offer to help him move, Rebecca lets her angst be known. “You’re gonna let her help you move?” she quips at Zied. “She is offering to help you move the furniture.”

“I mean, she was just being nice about it,” Tiffany says, as she defends her friend. “She was just offering to help.” 

“It’s not exactly in his culture to have a single woman over at his apartment,” Rebecca responds before telling Zied privately, “Women are not the same here as they are in your country.”

’90 Day Fiancé’ fans blast Rebecca for being ‘jealous’

After seeing Rebecca’s reaction to Zied’s conversation with the young woman, some 90 Day Fiancé fans felt like she blew the whole thing out of proportion.  “[The young woman] seemed genuine and actually was only offering use of her family’s vehicles,” one Reddit user wrote. 

“Rebecca’s jealousy was so over the top. That’s a serious red flag to get that angry just because someone of the opposite sex spoke to him. Because she’s a woman it’s “she’s insecure” but if gender roles were reversed it’d come off as abusive and controlling. Poor Zied.”

Some wondered why Rebecca insisted on hanging out with Tiffany’s younger friends if she’s insecure about her age. And others suggested there is nothing wrong with Zied making friends his own age. 

“I don’t understand who she expects Zied to hang out with?” another Redditor shared. “If he found friends of his own they would be young, and probably since he’s now in America, some would be girls. Or his guy friends would have girlfriends that would definitely come around.”
