90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson is back on the hit TLC franchise with a new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. And while Johnson won’t be appearing with Larissa Dos Santos Lima, he will be dating another Brazilian woman. This time, Johnson is out to win over Jess Caroline’s heart. However, some fans think that Johnson’s choice of first date venue leaves something to be desired. In short, they think he cheaped out on Jess Caroline.
Colt Johnson propositions Jess Caroline, fans lose it
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After is off to a good start for Colt Johnson. The reality star’s last 90 Day Fiancé relationship ended bitterly for both Johnson and his then-partner, Larissa Dos Santos Lima. Now, however, Johnson has found success with his new love, Jess Caroline. At least, for the time being.
The two enjoyed the evening after their first date together at the Hotel Chicago. They shared some time together over drinks after a day out. Eventually, Colt Johnson invited Caroline up to his room.
Johnson asked Caroline, “Would you like to come back to my hotel room so that we can probably have sex?”
Caroline said yes, but some fans found Johnson’s proposition odd. One Redditor wrote, “Nothing gets a girl more turned on than a man hedging his bets.”
Another user added, “Would you like to PROBABLY have sex? I don’t care if he was a supermodel nicest guy ever who says that?”
Jess Caroline says she’s the ‘boss in the bedroom’
While 90 Day Fiancé fans may have been majorly turned off by Colt Johnson’s proposition, it seems as if Jess Caroline enjoyed herself. And so did Colt Johnson. When asked about how the night went, they seemed to endorse each other.
Johnson told producers, “Jess is the first woman I’ve dated since Larissa. Last night, Jess was annoyed with me thatI didn’t tell my mother about her. But once we got back to the hotel, she forgot about it pretty quickly. And we had sex. It was great.”
Caroline added, “I like sex with Colt because I’m the boss in the bedroom.” She then suggested she and Johnson are a good match because they both enjoy having sex frequently.

Colt Johnson’s proposition wasn’t the only thing that had 90 Day Fiancé fans in stitches. According to one Reddit user, Johnson picked the cheapest hotel, not including hourly rentals, in Chicago for his date with Jess Caroline.
The Redditor added a photo of the hotel from outside, and wrote, “I live right by this hotel. There is nothing around it except hospitals and union halls. It used to be single room occupancy housing and was a bit controversial when converted because already [marginalized] people were displaced.”
They added, “There are cool historic houses a block away. I’m still trying to figure out where he got breakfast from. Closest place is a Mexican restaurant around the corner or the Billy Goat Tavern three blocks away. Current listings are running about $100 a night. It”s on the west side. It says west loop location, but uh…close but no cigar. I wouldn’t let my friends or relatives stay there. Definitely not a place to take a girl if you want to impress her. Oh Coltee….”
Another user added, “Stop! They showed this??? I live in Chicago and work in hotels so I’m familiar with this dump lol.”
