’90 Day Fiancé’: This Popular Couple Is Leaving ‘Pillow Talk’ And Fans Aren’t Feeling Their Replacements
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise is the king of spin-offs. From Before the 90 Days to Happily Ever After, if there is an interesting storyline or couple, the franchise will find a way to follow them for multiple seasons. One of the show’s most popular spinoffs is actually just a regurgitation of the other shows. Pillow Talk takes couples or popular cast members from past seasons and has them film their reactions to the current 90 Day Fiancé show that is airing.
Fans have gotten used to watching some of the couples on Pillow Talk give their opinions on the other shows. But now, Tim Malcolm and Veronica Rodriguez, who had become one of the most popular pairs on the show, are leaving.
Tim and Veronica’s relationship
Malcolm and Rodriguez actually didn’t appear on 90 Day Fiancé together. When Malcolm was on the show, he was dating Jeniffer Tarazona. He and Rodriguez are exes who share a daughter together. Rodriguez’s constant presence in Malcolm’s life definitely did not help his relationship with Tarazona. When he and Tarazona called it quits, people wondered if he and Rodriguez would give things another try.
“A lot of people will comment that they hope Veronica and I get back together, and I always say the same thing — that ship has sailed!” Malcolm told Us Weekly. “Romantically we’re not a good fit, but we’re great friends and we are good parents to [daughter] Chloe. That’s as much as we can ask for.”
“If we got back together, I would be very surprised,” he continued. “Probably as surprised as everyone else. We were together for almost nine years. We gave it a good solid effort.”
Though Malcolm isn’t interested in Rodriguez romantically any more, he admitted that he will always love her.
“I feel bad because I love Veronica and, in my world, she’s the mother of my daughter. So, to read negative things about her when she’s someone so genuine, it really hurts me,” he told the outlet. “I can take negative comments about me, but when it’s about my friends or my loved ones, it bothers me.”
Who is replacing Tim and Veronica?
According to Soap Dirt, Malcolm and Rodriguez will be leaving the show this week. They will be replaced by Chantel Everett’s mother Karen Everett and brother River Everett. Both Karen and River were on The Family Chantel. They rose to notoriety when they caused a huge fight at a dinner party with Chantel’s husband Pedro.
Rotating cast members on Pillow Talk is nothing new for TLC. The show likes to add new people in from time to time but that doesn’t mean that fans don’t miss the couples that leave.

Fans have not been too happy about this cast switch up.
“WHY must you ruin #Pillowtalk with the Family Chantel?” one person tweeted. “We haven’t suffered enough seeing Coltie in a speedo?”
“Uhm excuse you TLC but where are Tim and Veronica??” another person wrote. “‘Pillow talk’ just started and already I’m over family Chantel.”
“Where is Veronica and Tim with his shady sounding voice?” another fan said. “We’re going to need them back on ‘Pillow Talk.'”
