‘Floribama Shore’ cast updates from the reunion part 1, including Nilsa Prowant’s baby

Before Polizzi and Farley got into the nitty-gritty of Floribama Shore Season 4, they checked in with some of the roommates. Codi Butts has his nipples pierced now — something he shares in common with Candace Rice

When the reunion was filmed, Nilsa Prowant was still pregnant. But she welcomed her son, Gray Allen Gazda, May 20 when part 1 of the reunion special aired.

“31 hours of labor to get you here and I would do it all over again just for you,” she wrote on Instagram. “He is completely perfect in every single possible way. We are so blessed! Thank you God for our beautiful baby boy.”

Gus Smyrnios and Nilsa Prowant clear the air regarding his ex-girlfriend

Naturally, the drama surrounding Gus Smyrnios and Prowant from previous seasons resurfaced during the reunion. The two have a history of hooking up together. “She started the rumor that we slept together while I was with Lisa [Burns],” Smyrnios mentioned during the reunion.

From Smyrnios’ perspective, he welcomed Prowant into his room that night as a friend because she was upset. They didn’t do anything physical, but the way the roommates spun the story made Smyrnios out to be the bad guy.

Prowant says Smyrnios waited until the cameras were around to present the issue to her. He says she waited for cameras to make a comment about his alleged cheating.

In the end, the two admitted they got heated from rehashing the past. “We hugged it out and we apologized,” Smyrnios concluded.

‘Floribama Shore’ Season 4’s biggest blowouts explained

The Floribama Shore cast had plenty of explosive moments in season 4. While Smyrnios was at the center of many fights this season — he argued with Rice, Buoni, Prowant, and even Kirk Medas at one point — another roommate exploded during the season.

At one point, Butts felt like he was the only one in the house willing to be the center of a joke during a family dinner. “I’m not calling anybody out,” Butts said during the season 4 episode. But during the reunion special, fans found out who Butts was really talking about at that moment.

“Jeremiah and Candace,” Butts said when Farley asked who he meant. Frustrated by Butts’ intentions, Buoni said roasting was something he had to adjust to, especially living with his roommates. The reality star wasn’t used to that torment in his house growing up.

‘Floribama Shore’ cast discuss the goals of Black Lives Matter

Rice’s best friend Bethany was a guest in the house during season 4. During her visit, she sparked a fireside conversation about the Black Lives Matter movement. Bethany’s inquiry allowed the roommates to open up to each other as an interracial group of friends.

“It’s hard to be in a house and have those conversations,” Rice said. She admitted it was hard to be in the Floribama Shore house season 1 and speak up on the subject. “Now it’s not uncomfortable because now it’s being discussed. I think it’s a beautiful thing.”

The Floribama Shore reunion special concluded with Buoni and Smyrnios. Their argument about the 2019 VMAs trip was rehashed but left unresolved. Tune in next Thursday at 8PM for part 2 of the reunion.
