Before having an affair — and then marrying — Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles was married to Andrew Parker Bowles and together they had two children, a son, and a daughter. Both of which are much older than their step-siblings, Prince William and Harry.

Tom Parker Bowles

On December 18, 1974, Camilla Parker Bowles welcomed her first-born into the world. Tom Parker Bowles spent much of his childhood at Bolehyde Manor in Allington, Wiltshire and Middlewick House in Corsham, Wiltshire.

Today, Tom Parker Bowles is a food writer and critic, as well as a broadcaster. The step-royal has appeared on various televised programs and works extensively as a restaurant critic for The Mail and a food editor at Esquire. He also contributes to various other outlets in both the United States and United Kingdom. Some of his work has been published in Conde Nast Traveller, Departures, Country Life, Harpers Bazaar, and Town and Country.

In addition to his career as a restaurant critic and food editor, Prince William and Harry’s stepbrother has authored seven cookbooks, including E Is For Eating – An Alphabet of Greed, The Year of Eating Dangerously: A Global Adventure in Search of Culinary Extremes, and Full English: A Journey Through the British and Their Food. He has won several awards for his work, including the 2010 Guild of Food Writers award for “best work on British food.”

Tom Parker Bowles is married to Sara Buys and they have two children together, making Prince Charles a step-grandfather.

Laura Lopes

Tom Parker Bowles’s younger sister, Laura Lopes (born Laura Parker Bowles) was born on New Year’s Day in 1978 and, like Tom, grew up at Bolehyde Manor and Middlewick House. She studied History of Art and Marketing at Oxford Brookes University and works as an art curator today.

Laura Lopes married Harry Lopes (who comes from an aristocratic family) in 2006 — just one year after her mother married the future King of England. The nuptials took place in Wiltshire, near where she grew up, and hundreds of people (as well as thousands of well-wishers in the streets) were present. The couple has three children together, a daughter named Eliza and twin boys named Gus and Louis (which means Prince Charles has two grandsons named Louis).
