Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland teased 2 scenes in ‘Uncharted’ online with Youtuber Jacksepticeye

The online world has a new interview with the actor seemingly every day for months. Sometimes it was with Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Holland and Zendaya, but they rarely featured the actor playing video games.

Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland and Seán McLoughlin, better known by his user name on YouTube and Twitter, Jacksepticeye sat down and played Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Chapter 11, “Hidden in Plain Sight.” Nathan Drake and Sully escape a firefight by car in an action scene that would give Indiana Jones a run for his money.

As Jacksepticeye asked Holland if the Uncharted movie gave him a chance to perform stunts he never got a chance to in other projects.

“Something that I’ve always really enjoyed is waterwork. I really like working with water,” Holland said. “So we’ve got two really impressive sequences in this film that are based around water.”

And the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor even revealed a few details about the Uncharted scenes.

Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland revealed ‘Uncharted’ filmed 1 water scene on location near Barcelona

The Uncharted movie trailer showed young Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland emerging from the water, soaked in one of the first shots. It even showed off the actor behind the wheel of a boat.

And according to Holland, he’s driving the boat off the coast of Barcelona.

“Obviously, one [is] in the well,” Holland told Jacksepticeye. “And the other one [is] driving the boat, we got to drive off the coast of Barcelona and like drive into real caves and that sort of stuff.”

His fight with Mysterio‘s Hydro-Man in Spider-Man: Far From Home must have been a dream to film.

The ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ actor continued, talking about the fight scenes

Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland talked up the water scenes in Uncharted. He went on to talk about some of the fight scenes. According to Holland, he suggested plenty of his own ideas to the stunt team.

“Something I really enjoyed was the designing of some of the fight scenes,”  Holland said. “We wanted to figure out ways to make something you haven’t seen before, taking ideas from the game and turning it into something new.”

The Sony PlayStation series features plenty of over-the-top action. Translating those scenes to film takes a whole team to iron out.

“It wasn’t so much as my choreography, it would be something I wanted to see, and then I would pass that idea off to the stunt team,” Holland continued. “And then they would come back with a whole load of different ideas.”

Holland passed the controller off to Jacksepticeye partway through their playthrough of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and completed their chapters. They both hyped up the Uncharted movie, teasing fans to see every water stunt and action scene on the big screen.
