There is no denying that Vanderpump Rules would have looked completely different without the likes of Jax Taylor. But what fans may forget is that Taylor would have never been on the show if it had not been for his romance with Stassi Schroeder. With Season 8 officially underway, Schroeder reminded fans that she is the reason Taylor was given a chance to star on the show in the first place.

Schroeder claims she introduced Taylor on ‘Vanderpump Rules’

During an interview with Lala Kent and Randall Emmett on their podcast, Give Them Lala…with Randall, Schroeder opened up about how she brought Taylor on the show.

According to Page Six, Schroeder says that Taylor would have never appeared on Vanderpump Rules if they had not been dating when the series started. Producers only considered bringing Taylor on board because he was dating Schroeder.

“He was not even supposed to be on Vanderpump Rules,” Schroeder stated. “He was not working at SUR and they cast the rest of us, and they were like, ‘Who are you dating?’ And I was like, ‘This guy Jax.'”

Schroeder then joked about how she “owns” Taylor, who has gone on to become a staple on the reality series.

Taylor and Schroeder broke up in the first season of Vanderpump Rules. They ended their relationship after Taylor cheated on her during one of his visits to Las Vegas. The pair reunited in season 2 before parting ways for good.

Schroeder is getting ready to tie the knot with Beau Clark, while Taylor recently exchanged vows with Brittany Cartwright — so at least things worked out for both of them.

Schroeder and Clark get serious

With Schroeder and Clark now engaged, the two have officially bought a house in Hollywood Hills.

Taking to social media, the Vanderpump Rules stars posted a photo of themselves posing outside of their new home. Clark is shown holding one of their dogs in one arm while showing off the keys to the new place.

“Homeowners AF,” Schroeder wrote alongside the pic.

The two bought the home for a whopping $1.7 million. The property features a marble fireplace, massive exterior windows, and an arched ceiling.

Following the post, Cartwright congratulated the couple on becoming homeowners. Kent later added that everyone is becoming “adults af,” and her fiancé also said that the news was “amazing.”

Schroeder also shared a video of her dogs running through the house, plus a clip of her and Clark opening a bottle of champagne that was given to them by Lisa Vanderpump.

Inside Schroeder’s wedding plans

In July, Schroeder revealed that she and Clark are going to tie the knot in Italy in the fall of 2020. The couple toured several locations in the region before settling on a venue in Rome.

The Vanderpump Rules star later revealed that she wanted to exchange vows in the fall because she did not want anyone to sweat during the ceremony.

Although there have been rumors to the contrary, Schroeder noted that Vanderpump is not going to officiate the union.

Schroeder and Clark started dating sometime in early 2018. The two have become fan favorites on Vanderpump Rules, and viewers cannot get enough of their adorable romance.

Although the two are looking forward to their wedding, Schroeder has been dealing with a lot of drama on the show.

Drama explodes on ‘Vanderpump Rules’

During a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, Schroeder’s book signing event turned nasty. Things got so out of hand that Tom Sandoval later revealed that Schroeder has been banned from his establishment, which he owns with Tom Schwartz.

“If she comes in, she’s getting thrown out immediately,” Sandoval shared.

The drama took a turn for the worse when Schroeder called out Sandoval for being a “selfish, egotistical piece of s—t” in front of customers. To be fair, Sandoval was in a bad mood all night after his bartenders backed out of the event at the last minute.

Even still, Schroeder thought that he was having attitude issues because the book signing had nothing to do with him.

Sandoval later slammed Schroeder for insulting him in front of the crowd and was clearly upset with everything that happened that night. We do not know if Sandoval is serious about banning Schroeder, but he seems content with his decision for now.

Fans can watch the drama unfold when new episodes of Vanderpump Rules air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
