1. The Wrath of Con

This Season 1 installment is the first time we catch of glimpse of how Veronica and Logan used to be good friends. It also features a fairly intimate moment between the characters when they watch a video from Lilly’s memorial. Their interaction offers a look at their potential romance and makes it clear that Logan has feelings for Veronica – something fans picked up on from the start.

2. An Echolls’ Family Christmas

This Veronica Mars episode features some classic interactions between Veronica and Logan, not to mention some of the show’s best one-liners. After Weevil’s poker earnings come up missing, Logan and Duncan call on Veronica to help solve the mystery of the missing cash. Veronica agrees to help the boys, but only if they allow her to play in the tournament after she solves the crime.

3. Ruskie Business

Logan reaches out to Veronica for help looking into his mother’s mysterious death. Logan believes that his mom’s, Lynn, death is a lie and wants Veronica to get to the bottom of it. Sadly, Veronica discovers that Lynn took her own life. Logan understandably experiences an emotional breakdown when she tells him the news. The one good thing about the bombshell is that it does bring them closer as a couple.

4. Weapons of Mass Destruction

In this episode from season 1 of Veronica Mars, we finally get our first real look at Veronica and Logan’s romance. Their relationship heats up after Logan saves Veronica from a bomb. In the moment, Veronica kisses Logan in what turns out to be one of their most intense scenes together. Logan, of course, returns the favor and the pair initiates a quick make-out scene. The two would later hook up in the episode, “M.A.D.,” before things really reach the next level.

5. Ain’t No Magic Mountain High Enough

Veronica Mars is arguably at its best when its eponymous hero is solving everyday crimes in high school – and the mystery in this episode is one of the show’s best. While the majority of the episode features Veronica and Jackie teaming up at the carnival, we also get an inside look at Logan’s mental state. It is also great to see Veronica and Jackie playing nice, which is a rare occurrence for the characters.

6. Ahoy, Mateys

Sadly, Season 2 did not feature a lot of romantic moments between Veronica and Logan. After all, Veronica decides to part ways with Logan half-way and starts dating Duncan. While they are not dating in this episode, Logan goes out of his way to help Veronica escape from the Fitzpatricks. The move shows that Logan still has Veronica’s back, regardless of their history.

7. Not Pictured

Logan is no stranger to playing the hero when it comes to Veronica, and this Season 2 episode of Veronica Mars is no exception. After Veronica comes into contact with Cassidy Cassablancas, she finds herself in a dangerous situation once the killer goes on the attack. Luckily, Logan is on hand and quickly gets her out of harm’s way. The rescue effort also rekindles things for the couple, which fans absolutely loved.

8. Welcome Wagon

Veronica and Logan experienced a lot of ups and downs over the first three seasons, but “Welcome Wagon” was the first time they stepped out in public as an official couple. Fans had to wait a long time to see the two officially together, but this episode made it all worth the wait. Unfortunately, their relationship did not last through the end of the season and they parted ways in the episode, “Show Me The Monkey.” But with a series reboot fully underway, fans are hopeful that the two will get back together eventually.

Veronica Mars returns with all-new episodes July 26, on Hulu.
