The ‘Keto Guido’s previous residencies

In 2019, Guadagnino was first asked to host the world-renowned show weekends from Apr. 26 through May 26. His Jersey Shore fan base generated buzz around his residency, but his keto-physique kept people coming back for more.

As documented in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Guadagnino’s job was part M.C., part stripper. In one episode, Guadagnino’s roommates and his mother watched as he performed the now-famous shower act.

“He was definitely one of the best-received guest hosts we have had,” a Chippendales representative told Page Six. “He basically sold out almost every performance.”

Later in 2019, Chippendales extended Guadagnino’s stint with the show. According to TMZ, Guadagnino’s ticket sales were almost as high as Tyson Beckford’s when he performed with Chippendales. As such, the company invited him back to host another six-week run from July 26 to Sept. 1.

Vinny Guadagnino’s Chippendales checklist

Before each show, Guadagnino runs through a checklist to ensure he’s in optimal performance condition. “People think that it’s easy being a stripper, but it takes a lot of work, a lot of dedication, and a lot of sacrifice,” he told MTV in October 2019. “I have been training like Rocky to become the stripper Keto Guido.”

Before each show, Guadagnino emphasizes working out. “Get those last pumps in before hitting that stage because now you can’t hide anything,” he said.

Guadagnino also wears a “c*** sock” on stage to prevent accidents. “Getting your first c*** sock is everything,” he added. “It’s like when they handed Tiger Woods his first golf club.”
