Though her diet consists of mainly plant-based foods, some of Beyonce’s favorite dishes actually sound pretty good!

So, here’s all of the Queen Bey’s favorite foods that are not only healthy but also yummy.

The Queen Bey loves her veggies

Beyoncé might have just went fully vegan but her healthy eating journey has been a thing for the past few years.

Back in 2013, she and JAY-Z embarked on a 22-day vegan challenge together after partnering with their trainer/life coach Marco Borges, who created his own vegan meal delivery service.

The service, which is called 22 Days Nutrition, quickly took off in popularity after getting Bey and Jay’s seal of approval, and now, the couple are full-blown vegans.

“They loved it,” Borges, told People back in 2015. “They walked away with a greater understanding of the powerful benefits of plant-based nutrition. They were getting people saying, ‘Your skin has this glow.’ And who doesn’t like being told they look awesome?”

While Beyoncé didn’t fully adopt veganism at first, she still ate healthy as her meals started to include more and more wholesome choices.

Back in 2016, the “Formation” singer shared with Delish what she eats on a day-to-day basis and revealed that a majority of her meals include her favorite side dish—vegetables.

“I always have breakfast—say, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie, or whole-grain cereal with lowfat milk,” she shared. “For lunch and dinner I eat a lot of fish and vegetables. And throughout the day, I try to stay hydrated.”

Once 2018 rolled around, Bey fully adopted the vegan lifestyle as she prepared to headline the Coachella festival that year and hasn’t strayed away from her healthy eating habits.

Today, some of her favorite vegan foods include protein bars, avocado toast (which she frequently divulges in), vegan mac & cheese, vegan Portobello Mushroom, as well as thin-crust pizza (without the cheese of course).

She’s got hot sauce in her bag—literally

Since Beyoncé is notorious for maintaining a very private lifestyle, there isn’t a lot we know about her veganism and what she eats on a daily basis.

One thing we do know, however, is that the Queen Bey loves for her food to have a little kick and what better way to do that than with some tabasco sauce!

Beyoncé is someone who can’t get enough of her tabasco sauce and to make things even better, this iconic seasoning is 100% vegan.

She used to love fast-food but has given it up for good

Before the Queen Bey was living green and embraced veganism, cheese burgers and french fries were her jam.

The singer used to be a huge fan of fast-food and like many of us, was once obsessed with the food chain In-N-Out Burger.

However, after gaining 57 pounds while pregnant with Blue Ivy, Bey gave up red meat and started resorting to healthier food options in order to lose the baby weight.

“I ate a very low-calorie diet,” she told Delish. “I stayed away from red meat and ate a lot of fish, replaced pasta and rice with quinoa, and drank only water.”

So as you can see, Beyoncé has had many favorite foods over the years but now that she’s vegan, only healthy meal options are on her radar.
