When All American debuted on The CW in 2018, the first season attracted a small audience. After one season, the show was on the verge of cancellation. But, when the show debuted on Netflix, the series became a massive success. In turn, the network renewed All American for a second season. While the show has entered its fourth season, many fans wonder when the new season will premiere on Netflix. Here’s everything we know about All American Season 4 coming to the streaming service.

The CW series became a breakout hit on Netflix

Although the teen drama is not a Netflix original series, it still made a massive impact on audiences. Every time a new season premiered on the platform, the series managed to top the Netflix Top 10 List. In July 2021, Nielsen’s U.S. streaming rankings reported All American claimed the No. 1 spot, beating Netflix’s own Outer Banks. With all three seasons streaming on the platform, The CW series amassed 1.433 billion minutes viewed during the week of Jul. 26, 2021, topping Outer Banks’ 1.423 billion minutes.

The previous three seasons of All American were added to Netflix eight days after the season finale aired on The CW. Based on that timeline, fans should expect the fourth season to do the same. While the deal between The CW and Netflix is intact, there may be some delays on seasons debuting on the streaming platform.

According to Decider, the fifth season of Riverdale ended on Oct. 6, 2021, and aired on Netflix on Oct. 18, 2021. The fourth season of Dynasty concluded on Oct. 1, 2021, and the season premiere on Oct. 22, 2021, which is 21 days after the season finale aired on The CW. So, fans may encounter a slight delay with the premiere of All American Season 4 on Netflix. But for now, the new season is expected to debut on the platform eight days after the season finale.
