Like many television shows, the CW series took the week off for the Thanksgiving holiday and Black Friday, leaving many fans to wonder when Nancy Drew will return. Thankfully, this hiatus won’t last long at all. Here’s when to watch Nancy Drew Season 3 Episode 8, plus what to expect from the episode.

The CW will air a new episode of ‘Nancy Drew’ Season 3 in December
Fans won’t have to wait long to see Nancy (Kennedy McMann) and the gang continue their adventures in Horseshoe Bay, Maine. Season 3 episode 8 is scheduled to air on Friday, Dec. 3.
Now, here’s the bad news: the show will have a much longer hiatus very soon. The CW is approaching its midseason break, which means its fall shows will take time off until 2022.
After Nancy Drew Season 3 Episode 8, it looks like the network has one more episode scheduled for Dec. 10. The CW hasn’t officially confirmed if Nancy Drew Season 3 Episode 9 will be the midseason finale, but many of its other shows are scheduled for midseason finales around then, so the timeline would make sense.
As TVLine reported, the CW’s 2022 schedule has Nancy Drew returning for the second half of the season on Friday, Jan. 7.
What happened in the last episode?
As fans may recall, in episode 7, Nancy and Bess (Maddison Jaizani) used the Soul Splitter in a ritual to remove Odette’s soul from George’s (Leah Lewis) body. Unfortunately, that meant trapping Odette’s soul in a crystal and destroying it forever, meaning Bess had to say goodbye to her former lover. On the bright side, the ritual worked — George returned to her old self.
Elsewhere, Carson (Scott Wolf) and Ryan (Riley Smith) accidentally exposed themself to an elixir that took away their inhibitions. They reverted to their teenaged minds, making for some hilarious shenanigans. Later, Ace (Alex Saxon) went to find Nick (Tunji Kasim) to tell him the good news about George. However, Nick had disappeared, leaving his cell phone behind.
What is ‘Nancy Drew’ Season 3 Episode 8 about?
As seen in the promo above, the new episode of Nancy Drew looks like it will follow a new killer and an alliance between Nancy and Temperance (Bo Martynowska). Here’s the synopsis, per CarterMatt:
Nancy, Bess, Agent Park, and Temperance have to join forces when an attempt to trap a killer ends up unintentionally unleashing a deadly supernatural entity that feeds on people’s sorrows. Meanwhile, Ace and Ryan discover a haunting at the Historical Society, and George meets a friend from Nick’s past who may have secrets of her own.
