Which Kardashian Sister Annoys People the Most?
Not everyone loves Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In fact, there are more than a few people who just can’t stand the family who seemingly became (and continue to be) famous for nothing.
If you asked these people which Kardashian they thought was most annoying, you’d probably get a response like “I can only choose one?”
We get it. The Kardashians are always making headlines. Their drama seems to be never-ending, and at times we have to question, “Is this just another publicity stunt?” But is there on sister that’s more annoying than the rest?
Who are the Kardashians and why are they famous?
When you talk about the Kardashians, you are usually talking about the Kardashian-Jenner family. Kris Kardashian is the mother of Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian with former husband Robert Kardashian. After Kris married former Olympian Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn) the pair had Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Caitlyn has Brody Jenner, Burt Jenner, Brandon Jenner, and Cassandra Marino from a former marriage.
The Kardashian family first garnered publicity when the late Robert Kardashian represented former football player and family friend, O.J. Simpson in his murder trial. Simpson was charged with murdering his wife Nicole Simpson and famously was found not guilty.
The Jenner family found their fame in a less scandalous manner. Bruce Jenner was proclaimed the world’s greatest athlete in the early 1970s. He won a gold medal and set a world record for the decathlon in 1976.
In 2007, the Kardashian family returned to the headlines, but this time it was Kim that brought the spotlight on the family. In 2003, Kim recorded a sex tape with boyfriend Ray J. The tape was leaked in February 2007 and quickly spread across the internet. In November of that year, a reality show featuring the family, Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered on the E! network.
The girls are always in the spotlight
Thanks to the ongoing reality show, the girls are always in the spotlight. While the show features the entire family, a lot of the drama focuses on the oldest girls.
Each girl has developed a persona or reputation throughout the show. The youngest, Khloe has long been viewed as somewhat of an underdog. The show focused on problems with her weight, relationships, and problems conceiving. Kourtney is the maternal figure. With three kids, she has been the level-headed one who always puts her children first. Then there’s Kim. She has always been the celebrity of the family, appearing in commercials, movies, and photo shoots.
Kim steals the show (and possibly annoys people the most)
You could say that it’s all thanks to Kim that the family is where they are today. The family makes millions per year from their show and other endorsements and is one of the most well-known families in the world. But many people would argue that the way Kim launched the family into fame is tacky and torrid and that the country’s obsession for the family is not something to be proud of.
But is it one mistake that makes the middle sister the most annoying? It’s easy to argue that Kim has simply not made just one mistake. Throughout the show, she has continued to be overly provocative and constantly in the media. While the rest of the Kardashian Jenner clan keeps a lower profile (relative to Kim), Kim seems to be the one that is constantly in the spotlight. Does an overdose of Mrs. West make her the winner of most annoying Kardashian sister?
Whether you love them or hate them, find them annoying or endearing, it doesn’t look like the Kardashians are going anywhere anytime soon. And no matter what they do, it seems like they always give us something to talk about.
