In 2019, Nadal married Maria Francisca “Xisca” Perelló.
The couple met when they were teenagers and started dating in 2005. However, the pair kept things so quiet that the media didn’t even learn about their relationship until three years later. The two got engaged in 2018 and said “I do” at the La Fortaleza castle in Spain, in front of 350 guests. Some of their famous pals who attended the affair include Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Laurie. In June 2022, Nadal confirmed reports that he and his wife are expecting their first child.
CNN noted that Perelló has a degree in business. Today, she works for the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy and is the Director of Strategy and Relations with Institutions for Nadal’s foundation in her and her hubby’s hometown of Mallorca, Spain.
Djokovic is also married to his high school sweetheart
Djokovic is also married to a woman he has known since they were in high school and they began dating in 2005 as well.
The athlete wed Jelena Ristic in 2014 when she was pregnant with their first child.

The publication reported that after he won Wimbledon in July 2019, his career earnings alone totaled more than $133 million. In addition, Djokovic has raked in millions more through endorsements with several top brands.
Nadal had trailed behind Djokovic with a net worth of $200 until mid-2022 when Celebrity Net Worth updated that figure to $220 million, the same as Djokovic’s. The publication also noted that “in any given year, [Nadal] earns around $40 million from tournament winnings, appearance fees, and endorsements.”
