How did Noah Centineo become famous?
Centineo has been acting for a number of years. His career began on the Disney Channel, appearing in episodes of shows like Austin & Ally, Shake It Up and Jessie. He then began to get attention for his role in the Freeform series The Fosters when he took over the role of Jesus from another Disney alum, Jake T. Austin.
But it wasn’t until last year Centineo received his moniker as “The Internet’s Boyfriend.” He starred in back-to-back Netflix teen romantic comedies, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is A Loser. His follow-up, The Perfect Date, cemented his place at Netflix’s go-to young adult male love interest.
Centineo was rumored to be dating Lana Condor
We get it — we know you love to ship the stars of your favorite romantic comedies in real life. Centineo and his TATBILB co-star, Lana Condor, quickly became everyone’s favorite potential couple after the film was released, and, to be fair, they fed the rumors a bit with posts like the one above.
It didn’t take long for rumors to begin to circulate. However, Condor and Centineo quickly established that while they clearly have chemistry on screen, and like one another very much, there’s nothing going on behind-the-scenes, romantically speaking. Oh well, we can still see it.
Centineo is dating Alexis Ren
Because of his status, everyone cares about who Centineo is dating. And while they have been rumors of a few past girlfriends of note, he hasn’t addressed them. But now, it looks like things are pretty serious with one girlfriend.
Centineo is dating Alexis Ren. The model is known for her work in Sports Illustrated and Maxim over the past few years. Ren also competed on Season 27 of Dancing With the Stars, coming in fourth place. You may recognize her from Ed Sheeran’s “South of the Border” music video.
Ren and Centineo’s first public appearance
After months of rumors surrounding their potential relationship, Centineo and Ren have finally made it official. They attended the UNICEF Masquerade Ball at Kimpton La Peer Hotel on Oct. 26, 2019, in Los Angeles together, posing for the press upon arrival.
And though they haven’t posted any other photos together on Instagram, Ren did take things a step forward. In her Instagram Stories the next day, she shared a video of Centineo throwing a ball to her friend’s dog, Baker, while playing at the beach together.
What is Centineo doing next?
Centineo has got a few projects in the works. There’s not one, but two TATBILB sequels coming. Both have been filmed, and the first is due out in Feb. 2020. No word yet on the second. Additionally, he has a role in the new Charlie’s Angels film, due out on Nov. 15.
