Gordon Ramsay revealed some of his favorites

Though the Fox Network star now focuses on healthy eating, he has previously shared his love of a popular fast food restaurant.

“In-N-Out burgers were extraordinary,” Ramsay said of his tasty experience at the popular California spot, according to Insider. “I was so bad, I sat in the restaurant, had my double cheeseburger then minutes later I drove back around and got the same thing again to take away. I wish that they were set up in London because if there’s one thing I miss flying out of LA, it’s an In-N-Out Burger.”

Another dish that tops Ramsay’s list of favorites is a traditional English comfort breakfast that includes two eggs, slices of bacon, a mushroom cap, a slice of tomato, a sausage link, and a small side of baked beans.

“It is the one meal that I would ever eat as a last supper,” he noted. “It has to be a full English breakfast with extra baked beans.”

‘Hell’s Kitchen’ star prefers to stay hungry when flying

Ramsay’s travel schedule is usually pretty packed with his portfolio of television shows, which includes his exploration series Uncharted on National Geographic. Yet he tends to take care of meals before boarding any flights, preferably at his own restaurant Plane Food in London’s Heathrow airport or by just grabbing a light snack with an Italian flair.

“A nice selection of Italian meats, a little glass of red wine, some sliced apples or pears with some parmesan cheese,” he described of a potential nosh, “I’m like a pig in sh*t.”

Once the plane is in the air, Ramsay refrains from any type of menu options offered on board.

“There’s no f*cking way I eat on planes,” he remarked. “I worked for airlines for ten years, so I know where this food’s been and where it goes, and how long it took before it got on board.”

Another Gordon Ramsay no-no

Ramsay has sampled his fair share of pizza over the years but refuses one particular topping.

“Pineapple does not go on top of pizza,” he tweeted in 2017, as reported by Insider, and added a few more comments on a Facebook Live. “Imagine salty, sweet cardboard … because that’s exactly what’s gone in my mouth right now. This isn’t a pizza … it’s a mistake.”

In 2018, Ramsay embarked on a 50-pound weight loss journey and made some dietary modifications which included avoiding dairy.

“No milk,” he told Daily Mail. “Just because it’s sluggish. Almond milk with Weetabix for breakfast. Smoothie with frozen berries, yogurts. Dropping milk and cheese has made a massive difference.”

He also advised drinking plenty of water. “Take a couple of glasses before you eat, it just stops you eating a third more,” Ramsay said. “You feel better but eat less.”

Let’s assume he doesn’t apply this rule to a Thanksgiving meal!
