Dancing With The Stars premiered last Monday, but it won’t be on in its usual time slot this week. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait a whole week to see their favorite dancing partners and celebrity pros return.

When will ‘Dancing With the Stars’ return?

If you are stumbling upon this article on Sept. 21 and wondering if Dancing With the Stars is on tonight, we have bad news. ABC will be airing Monday Night Football instead. You can watch the New Orleans Saints take on the Las Vegas Raiders, but you will have to wait one more day to see your celebs and dancing pros. 

DWTS will return on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. EST. According to TV Insider, the pairs will take on the Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Samba, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, and Jive.

When will the first elimination occur on ‘DWTS’ Season 29?

On Tuesday, all 15 celebrities and dancing professionals will return for another dance. Following the competition, their scores from the premiere and Tuesday’s dances will be combined with viewers’ votes. 

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will return to judge another week of dances. Six-time DWTS winner Derek Hough will also join the judging panel again this week. Len Goodman might make an appearance virtually from the United Kingdom. He was not able to return to the show this season due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. 

Who are the dancing pairs for ‘DWTS’ 2020?

TV personality Monica Aldama from the Netflix series Cheer is partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Big Cat Rescue activist Carole Baskin from the Netflix documentary Tiger King is dancing with Pasha Pashkov. The Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe is paired with pro Artem Chigvintsev. 

Former football tight end Vernon Davis joins Peta Murgatroyd to show off their dancing skills. While actress, director, and screenwriter Anne Heche joins pro Keo Motsepe. Skai Jackson is the youngest celebrity to compete on DWTS. The 18-year-old actress and YouTuber is dancing with Alan Bersten this season.

Six Feet Under and Jane the Virgin actor Justina Machado is competing with pro Sasha Farber. Television host and stylist Jeannie Mai from The Real joins Brandon Armstrong this season. Backstreet Boy AJ McLean will take his dancing skills to a whole new level with pro Cheryl Burke.
