NBC’s Manifest Season 2 Episode 7 gave fans a lot to digest. The episode titled ‘Emergency Exit’ left viewers with several questions about what will happen next on the show.

Alas, the world will have to wait a while to find out where the story of the Flight 828 passengers will head. Manifest, which typically airs on Mondays at 10 p.m., is taking a break this week.

What will replace ‘Manifest’ on NBC tonight?

Instead of Manifest, NBC will premiere Season 4 Episode 1 of Little Big Shots, a variety show featuring exceptionally talented children. Ellen DeGeneres and Steve Harvey co-created the series, and Steve Harvey served as the host for the first three seasons. Melissa McCarthy took over hosting in Season 4.

Little Big Shots is not just about showcasing talented kiddos. In the show, the children open up and share life lessons they’ve learned. The wonder-kids are surprisingly insightful, and their stories often trigger emotional reactions from the host and viewers.

“I don’t think you have to be big to be a big deal,” said McCarthy in a promo for the show.

After this week, Little Big Shots will move to its regular time period on Sundays at 8 p.m. Season 4 Episode 2 will air on Sunday, March 1 on NBC.

When will ‘Manifest’ return to its regular time slot?

According to tvguide.com, Season 2 Episode 8 of the mystical drama will return to NBC on Monday, March 2.

The new episode of Manifest will kick off a six-week episode streak through early April, as reported by episodecalendar.com. Fans can expect to see more of the story unfold as the 828ers inch closer to clues about their disappearance, reappearance, and the dreaded Death Date.

What will happen on Season 2 Episode 8?

In the Manifest Season 2 Episode 8 promo, Ben hears chanting when he experiences another Calling. He confides in Olive, who encourages him to follow the voices, and the father-daughter duo team up to crack the mystery. It appears that the journal of Al-Zuras, the 16th-century Egyptian artist, may play into the plot of the episode.

In the previous episodes, TJ located the journal and then had it delivered to Ben. When Ben began to examine the book, he noticed seemingly prophetic drawings.

Matters became even more puzzling when a supernatural light materialized as Ben was reading the text. Viewers can hope to gain insights into these events in the upcoming episode.

Episode 7 also left the audience hanging with Saanvi’s discovery of a cure. The persistent doc managed to eradicate her Callings and the DNA anomaly associated with them.

Meanwhile, Zeke received a sign that his Death Date may be quickly approaching when he began to exhibit symptoms of frostbite. Episode 8 could be an opportunity to connect Saanvi and Zeke, and to test the cure against an imminent Death Date. But the promo does not tease that this will indeed happen yet. The show may delay that story development until later this season.

Spiritual leader and 828er, Adrian was last seen hanging his head in regret after his parishioner attempted to burn down a building full of 828ers and other bystanders. It is unclear whether or not fans have seen the last of Adrian or if the character will get closure on-screen in Episode 8.

Season 2 Episode 8 and the subsequent episodes of Manifest will likely provide some resolutions and many more questions. Until Manifest returns to NBC on March 2, viewers can stream previous episodes any time on Hulu.
