Why Kim Kardashian Had To Rush Kanye West To the Hospital After Attending Pusha T’s Wedding
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended Pusha T’s wedding and hours later, ended up in the emergency room. Here’s why.
When Pusha T married his longtime girlfriend, Virginia Williams, on Saturday, July 21, Kardashian and West were there but the following day the reality star had to rush her husband to the hospital. TMZ reported that Kardashian took him to the emergency room for an illness that had continued to get worse and flu-like symptoms.
A source told the Daily Mail that the “Famous” rapper was feeling “under the weather with [a] common cold or flu” so they decided to go to the ER and get some antibiotics. The hospital stay was brief and West has since returned home where he is resting up.
The hip-hop artist had been tweeting recently about not feeling well although it’s not known if the illnesses are related.
“Whenever you’re feeling down bored irritated or disgruntled just say… thank god I don’t have a sinus headache … they feel like the episode of black mirror when the bee went into the guys ear…” read one tweet he wrote on July 14.

“I had a sinus headache on a flight once and I got a f**king cat scan after because it was so bad,” he added in another post.
Just one day prior to being hospitalized, Yeezy and his wife were enjoying Pusha T’s wedding in Virginia Beach. Pusha is the president of Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music record label. The wedding, which took place at the historic Cavalier Hotel, was a star-studded affair with a guest list that also included Fabolous, The Dream, Trey Songz, and Pharrell Williams who served as best man.
The bride wore a Marchesa gown, while Pusha T sported a Dior tuxedo designed by Kim Jones.
Before the ceremony, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star showed off the glamorous looks she and West were wearing to the event in an Instagram video. The Selfish author donned a gold, long-sleeved Balmain mini dress along with a sparkling Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a retro cell phone. “Mr. West is in the building. He’s so handsome in a suit,” she captioned a clip of her husband as he was getting ready.
Once the 41-year-old hip-hop artist gets over the flu, he’ll be busy with several upcoming collaborations and projects he has in the works with other rappers.
Kid Cudi revealed that after releasing the Kids See Ghosts album in June together, the rappers have more albums dropping in the near future.
“There are some songs that we didn’t use that I’m hopeful we can put out later. But the plan is to do more Kids See Ghosts albums,” Cudi told Billboard, adding that the two will always produce “awesome s**t” together because they “just have this chemistry that’s undeniable, especially when we have to fight for it with each other.”
West will also be working on Chance The Rapper’s new album later this month in Chicago.
