Colton Underwood isn’t on Tinder. He’s still very much in love with his Bachelor season winner, Cassie Randolph.

But Dolly Parton started the “social challenge” where people share the photos they’d use for their LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder accounts, and Underwood played along.

The idea is that we portray different personas for different social sites. The LinkedIn photo features users looking their professional best, Facebook is family-friendly, Instagram is artsy/cool, and Tinder is (tastefully) thirsty.

Colton Underwood’s ‘social challenge’

“dying at my version of tinder,” he captioned the collage.

When Underwood participated, his Tinder photo of choice had women sounding off in the comments saying they avoid profiles with photos like his. So what exactly was wrong with the pic the reality star chose? He’s surrounded by women (from his season of The Bachelor–Randolph is right next to him). Apparently, when some women swipe through Tinder, they actively avoid profiles that feature photos with lots of other women.

“I usually swipe left on guys that have pictures with a bunch of girls lol,” commented one fan, which received replies like, “Lol! Same!”

“It’s a good thing you’re not on tinder…. no way you’d be getting swipes with that pic,” commented one fan.

“Never pick a group shot your your tinder Colton,” wrote another.

“If a guy had THAT many girls in a Tinder pic then that’s a guaranteed swipe LEFT,” wrote another.

Of course Underwood had to participate in the “social challenge”–he was nominated for MTV’s Most Meme-Able Moment last year with his infamous fence-jump.

“I never thought that jumping a fence would get nominated for an award but it’s exciting to be here, it’s exciting to be nominated. There are so many people who work so hard to put this show on, and I joked with production the whole entire year, I was like I want this show to win every award possible. Because everybody works so hard and they invest in you and they care for you so I’m very, very excited to be representing The Bachelor franchise,” he told E! News at the time of his nomination.

Colton Underwood’s dating advice

Underwood also gave some dating advice to his interviewer (for all those Tinder users out there).

The reality star told his interviewer she needed to stop dating “boys.” “You need to be dating men,” he said.

“This is why you’re The Bachelor, because you know what’s up,” the interviewer responded.

“Have somebody who has their life together first. You can’t fix somebody so you have to make sure that they have their ducks in a row,” he said.
