Willow Smith has been living her very best life. Though she is the daughter of ultra-famous actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the musician has worked tirelessly to find her own voice and sound outside of her parents’ shadows.

She’s spoken on a topic close to her heart on Red Table Talk, and she’s a bonified musician with her own distinct voice. Smith even showed everyone how grown up she is when she recently walked in Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Vol. 2 fashion show.

The singer celebrated her 20th birthday on Halloween, and now she’s sharing an absolutely epic gift that she received on her special day.

This is how Willow Smith celebrated her 20th birthday

Though she had to celebrate her 20th birthday, which falls on Halloween, within quarantine like many of us, Smith did not let that deter her from having a wonderful time.

On her birthday, she posted a video of herself, her brother Jaden and cousin Jade Pinkett visiting LA-based tattoo artist Raymond Jimenez. Smith shared her very first tattoo, which appears to be an overlapping circle grid inked on her inner arm.

She captioned the photo of her new piece of art, saying, “First tattoo on Willoween.” In addition to her family and friends, Smith got countless birthday wishes from her fans. Her mother shared a beautiful tribute to her only daughter. The Girls Trip actor posted a photo of Smith dressed as a witch saying. “Happy Birthday to my most favorite Spooky Girl in the whole wide world!!!!”

Willow Smith also promised fans new music on her birthday

Smith, who broke through in the music industry when she was just 10-years-old with her hit song, “Whip My Hair,” also promised fans something major for her birthday.

She revealed that she’s teamed up with musician Jahnavi Harrison to release a new project very soon. She said,

The more I grow the more I realize that the only things that truly matter win life are being in service to humanity in anyway that I possibly can and strengthening my relationship with The Divine. I am so honored to announce that @jahnavi_harrison and I will be dropping a project together VERY soon. I have so much gratitude for the fact that I got to make my first devotional album with such a pure, talented, and peaceful human like Jahnavi … I hope that our offering will soothe the heart and nourish the souls of whomever listens.

Willow Smith got the most amazing birthday gift

In addition to her tattoo, the well-wishes, and the confirmation of a new project, Smith also shared an amazing birthday gift from her grandmother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones.

Banfield-Jones got her grandaughter a rare seven-string guitar. Most guitars only have six strings. A seventh is added to extend the bass or treble range.

Smith shared a photo of herself strumming on her new gift on Instagram, captioning it, “This is the first seven-string I’ve ever owned! Thank you @adriennebanfieldnorris for my birthday gift! Whose ready for my <metal album> 😝.”
