Emily Simpson of The Real Housewives of Orange County and Jenny McCarthy were guests on Watch What Happens Live. The two stars were having fun talking about everything Bravo until Andy Cohen introduced a game for them to play. McCarthy made a remark about Simpson’s husband right in front of her that did not sit well and made things awkward. The cringy moment now lives forever on social media and you can relive it down below.

What did Jenny McCarthy say?

It was RHOC night at the WWHL clubhouse and Cohen had a fun game for his guests to play. Kelly Dodd infamously called Simpson’s husband a “dork” in the past and the game was aptly titled, “Who’s the bigger Dork!?” The game had simple rules, Cohen would display two househusbands side-by-side and the ladies would decide who was the bigger dork.

For the first round, it was Simpson’s husband, Shane Simpson, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s husband, Sean Burke. McCarthy quickly said it was going to be “hard” to choose and this is the moment you knew things were headed south.

“Jenny! It’s not hard,” Simpson said.

“They’re both dorks, they’re both huge losers,” McCarthy said as they cut to Cohen surprised she had just said that.

“That’s her husband,” Cohen reminded McCarthy.

“That’s right, I’m sorry,” McCarthy said as she covered her mouth in embarrassment.

“Yeah, seriously, you just called my husband a loser right in front of me,” Simpson fired back as Cohen laughed at the cringy moment.

McCarthy laughed at the incident and tried to walk back her comments. She said she was referring to “the guy with the necklace.” Cohen noticed the tension in the room and decided to cut the game short and move on to another game.

“Let’s play a different game. I don’t think this game is going well,” Cohen pointed out.

The Bravo host gave McCarthy an opportunity to apologize to Simpson. Her justification didn’t work as Cohen pointed out that she said “they’re both losers.”

Emily Simpson not afraid to speak out

Simpson has been outspoken during RHOC Season 15, especially against her co-stars. Windham-Burke is one of the housewives she seems to not be connecting with. Although the latter confided in her about her alcoholism, Simpson still doesn’t seem to trust her completely. Reports came in that after the Bravo series wrapped production Simpson unfollowed Windham-Burke from social media.

“It was the last time that we were allowed, all six of us, to be together and I just I didn’t particularly like the way she acted and the way things went down,” Simpson told Entertainment Tonight. “I didn’t block her or anything. I just unfollowed and, you know, there’s a lot of things that need to be resolved with her.”

The third-season housewife made it clear that she didn’t take the decision lightly and she had her reason for unfollowing Windham-Burke. One of the main reasons is that Simpson doesn’t find her co-star authentic.

“I’m an attorney, so I analyze things and I like facts,” Simpson added. “I don’t think anybody should jump on someone else out of emotions or anything like that. So, I do have a very factual, analytical argument as to things that she’s done that I find completely inauthentic and, you know, I’m ready and willing to address those.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 15 airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
