Several ‘Young Sheldon’ child stars love ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ including Iain Armitage

The CBS child stars on the Young Sheldon agree that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer stands as a must-have holiday tradition.

Iain Armitage plays young Sheldon Cooper, who grows up as a theoretical physicist in Chuck Lorre’s The Big Bang Theory.

“Well, I love watching Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, pretty much all the different Santa movies,” Armitage said. “Because it just feels like tradition, you know? It’s what I do around the holidays.”

Montana Jordan and Wyatt McClure play Sheldon’s brother George and neighbor and bully, Billy Sparks. They both say Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer stands as a favorite of theirs as well.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer can actually teach you good lessons,” McClure said.

Another CBS child star, Raegan Revord, plays Sheldon’s sister, Missy, in The Big Bang Theory prequel series. Revord said that family remains the most crucial holiday aspect for her.

‘Bob Hearts Abishola’ actor Travis Wolfe Jr. likes ‘Frosty the Snowman’

Outside of the Young Sheldon cast, child stars from Bob Hearts Abishola, B Positive, The Equalizer, and the United States of Al also spoke up about their favorite holiday special.

“I remember Frosty the Snowman was a huge part of my childhood,” Travis Wolfe Jr. said, who stars with Folake Olowofoyeku as Abishola’s son, Dele. “I watched the movie probably 10 different times on ten different occasions.”

The Equalizer’s Laya Deleon Hayes emphasized spending time with family and helping prepare Filippino food for the holidays.

Farrah McKenzie from the United States of Al said: “My cousins and I like to snuggle up together at my grandparents’ house and read The Night Before Christmas.

The CBS child star from Cedric the Entertainer’s The Neighborhood, Hank Green, has a family that celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah and prefers the latter thanks to the delicious food.

‘B Positive’ Izzy G. and the other CBS child stars all love spending time with their families over the holidays

Izzy G., who plays Maddie in B Positive, said something similar to many other CBS child stars.

“What I love about the holiday season is being with family,” Izzy G said. “I really care about that stuff, and it’s really nice to see them over the holidays.”
